This Purchase Order is issued by SSGE to formally engage the above-named Geologist to perform comprehensive geological survey, site assessment, and technical consulting services across multiple project sites within the Senegal Dakar metropolitan area and its surrounding regions. The Geologist shall apply internationally recognized geological methodologies adapted to the specific lithological, tectonic, and hydrogeological conditions characteristic of the Dakar region, including the Senegalo-Mauritanian Basin, the coastal alluvial deposits of the Dakar peninsula, and the crystalline basement rocks of the Fouta Djallon extension.

- Compliance with Senegalese Law: The Geologist shall perform all services in strict accordance with the laws of the Republic of Senegal, including the Code des Mines (Decree No. 2016-1234), the environmental impact assessment regulations of the Ministry of Environment and Sustainable Development, and all applicable professional licensing requirements of the Ordre des Géologues du Sénégal.
- Professional Standards: All geological interpretations, reports, and certifications issued under this Purchase Order shall conform to the International Association of Geologists (IAG) ethical code and the technical standards of the Geological Survey of Senegal (Service Géologique du Sénégal).
- Deliverables: The Geologist shall submit all field reports, geological maps, borehole logs, and final technical memoranda in both French and English, in both hard copy (3 sets) and digital format (PDF and editable GIS layers in ArcGIS/Shapefile format), to the SSGE Procurement Office in Dakar within 15 business days of fieldwork completion for each line item.
- Payment Schedule: Payment shall be made in three installments: 30% upon signed commencement of each phase, 50% upon submission of interim geologist reports, and 20% upon final acceptance of deliverables by the SSGE Technical Review Committee in Dakar. All payments shall be processed in XOF via bank transfer to the account specified in Section 2.
- Insurance and Liability: The Geologist shall maintain professional indemnity insurance of no less than 25,000,000 XOF and personal accident coverage for all field operations conducted in and around Senegal Dakar. The Geologist assumes full professional liability for the accuracy of geological interpretations and recommendations provided under this Purchase Order.
- Confidentiality: All geological data, subsurface information, and proprietary exploration results generated under this Purchase Order in the Senegal Dakar region shall be treated as strictly confidential by the Geologist and shall not be disclosed to third parties without prior written consent from SSGE, in accordance with Senegalese data protection law (Loi No. 2008-12).
- Termination: Either party may terminate this Purchase Order with 30 days written notice. In the event of termination, the Geologist shall be compensated for all geological services rendered up to the date of termination, plus reasonable demobilization costs.
- Dispute Resolution: Any dispute arising from this Purchase Order shall first be subject to amicable negotiation between the parties in Dakar. Failing resolution within 60 days, the matter shall be referred to the competent commercial court of Dakar, Republic of Senegal, whose jurisdiction is hereby accepted by both parties.
- Force Majeure: Neither party shall be liable for delays caused by events beyond reasonable control, including but not limited to severe weather events affecting fieldwork in the Dakar coastal zone, government-imposed restrictions, or civil unrest within Senegal.
This Purchase Order is issued and authorized by the undersigned on behalf of Société Sénégalaise de Géologie et d'Exploration. The Geologist's acceptance of this Purchase Order constitutes full agreement to all terms, conditions, and scope of work described herein for the geological services to be performed in Senegal Dakar.
