This Purchase Order is issued to engage the services of a qualified Geologist for the purpose of conducting comprehensive geological surveys, subsurface analysis, and environmental risk assessments in the metropolitan area of South Korea Seoul. The Geologist shall provide expert consultation, field investigation, laboratory coordination, and technical reporting in accordance with the standards set forth by the Korea Geoscience and Mineral Resources Agency (KEMRI) and the Seoul Metropolitan Government's urban development regulations. - Payment shall be made in Korean Won (KRW) via bank transfer to the account designated by the Geologist's firm, Seoul GeoConsulting & Earth Sciences Ltd.
- 30% advance payment upon acceptance of this Purchase Order and execution of the service agreement.
- 40% milestone payment upon completion of fieldwork and submission of interim geological reports.
- 30% final payment within 15 business days of acceptance of the final comprehensive report by the Seoul Metropolitan Infrastructure Development Corporation.
- All payments are subject to the terms outlined in the Korea Commercial Act and applicable tax regulations of South Korea.
- The Geologist must hold a valid professional license issued by the Korea Geoscience and Mineral Resources Agency and maintain professional liability insurance with a minimum coverage of KRW 500,000,000 for the duration of the engagement in South Korea Seoul.
- All geological data, core samples, and reports produced under this Purchase Order shall remain the exclusive property of the Purchasing Party unless otherwise agreed in writing.
- The Geologist shall comply with all environmental protection laws of South Korea, including the Environmental Impact Assessment Act and the Soil and Groundwater Contamination Countermeasure Act.
- Work shall be performed within the administrative boundaries of Seoul, South Korea, unless prior written authorization is granted for fieldwork in adjacent provinces.
- Any changes to the scope of work must be documented through a formal Purchase Order amendment signed by both parties.
- The Geologist shall submit a weekly progress report to the Purchasing Party's project manager every Friday by 17:00 KST.
- In the event of force majeure, including but not limited to typhoons, earthquakes, or government-mandated work stoppages in Seoul, South Korea, the project timeline shall be extended proportionally.
