The Geologist is responsible for ensuring that all fieldwork, sampling, and reporting comply with the latest revisions of the Turkish Geotechnical Investigation and Foundation Design Regulations (2019) and the relevant TS EN standards. All borehole logs, laboratory data, and the final geotechnical report must be submitted in both Turkish and English. The Geologist shall attend a minimum of two progress review meetings with the project management team at the Meridian Geological Consulting office in Turkey Ankara during the execution period.

• 4.1 – This Purchase Order constitutes a binding agreement between Meridian Geological Consulting Ltd. and Kaya Jeoloji Ltd. upon countersignature by both parties. All services shall be performed in Turkey Ankara unless otherwise agreed in writing.
• 4.2 – The Geologist shall commence fieldwork no later than 21 June 2025 and shall complete all laboratory coordination and report submission by 15 August 2025. Delays attributable to the Geologist shall incur a penalty of 0.5% of the Purchase Order value per calendar day of delay, capped at 10%.
• 4.3 – Payment shall be made in three installments: 30% upon mobilization and commencement of fieldwork in Turkey Ankara; 40% upon completion of all borehole drilling and SPT testing; and 30% upon acceptance of the final Geotechnical Investigation Report by the project engineer.
• 4.4 – The Geologist shall maintain professional indemnity insurance with a minimum coverage of TRY 5,000,000 for the duration of the contract and shall provide a certificate of insurance prior to mobilization.
• 4.5 – All intellectual property, data, and reports generated under this Purchase Order shall remain the exclusive property of Meridian Geological Consulting Ltd. The Geologist shall not reuse, publish, or disclose any project-specific data without prior written consent.
• 4.6 – In the event of a dispute, the parties shall first attempt resolution through good-faith negotiation. If unresolved within 30 days, the matter shall be referred to the Ankara Arbitration Institute (Ankara Tahkim Merkezi) in Turkey Ankara, and the decision shall be final and binding.
• 4.7 – This Purchase Order is governed by the laws of the Republic of Turkey. Any amendments must be made in writing and signed by authorized representatives of both parties.
