Terms & Conditions of this Purchase Order
- Payment Terms: Net 30 days from date of invoice. Payment to be made via Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) to the supplier's designated bank account in South Africa. Reference: PO No SA-JHB-HD-2025-0487.
- Delivery Terms: Supplier shall deliver all items listed in this Purchase Order to the Hairdresser premises located at 142 Rivonia Road, Sandton, Johannesburg, South Africa, no later than 28 June 2025. Delivery shall be made between 08:00 and 16:00 on a business day.
- Quality Assurance: All Hairdresser equipment and supplies must meet South African National Standards (SANS) for electrical safety and cosmetic product registration with the South African Health Products Regulatory Authority (SAHPRA). Any non-compliant items will be rejected at the point of delivery in Johannesburg.
- Warranty: All electrical Hairdresser equipment (hairdryers, flat irons, blow-dry hoods) carries a minimum 24-month manufacturer's warranty valid in South Africa. Replacement parts must be available within the Johannesburg metropolitan area within 14 business days.
- Acceptance & Inspection: The buyer's operations manager in Johannesburg shall inspect all goods upon delivery. Any damaged, defective, or incorrect items must be reported within 5 business days of receipt. The supplier shall replace or refund non-conforming items within 10 business days.
- Force Majeure: Neither party shall be liable for delays caused by events beyond reasonable control, including but not limited to load-shedding schedules in the Johannesburg area, national strikes, or government-mandated lockdowns in South Africa.
- Governing Law: This Purchase Order shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Johannesburg, Gauteng.
- Compliance: The supplier confirms that all products comply with the Consumer Protection Act (CPA) No. 68 of 2008 of South Africa and that all cosmetic products bear the required SAHPRA registration numbers and ingredient labelling in English and isiZulu as per local Johannesburg retail requirements.
