1. All items specified in this Purchase Order shall be delivered to our Hairdresser premises located at Mbezi Beach Road, Kariakoo, Tanzania Dar es Salaam. The supplier is responsible for arranging secure transportation within the Dar es Salaam metropolitan area. Delivery must be completed no later than 26 June 2025. The supplier shall provide a minimum of 48 hours' written notice prior to delivery to allow our Hairdresser team to prepare the receiving area. All equipment must be delivered in original packaging, and the supplier's representative must be present to assist with the unloading and initial positioning of large items such as salon chairs and backwash basins. In the event of delivery delays caused by road conditions, traffic congestion on Mbezi Beach Road, or any other factor within Tanzania Dar es Salaam, the supplier must notify our office within 24 hours and propose a revised delivery schedule.
4. PAYMENT TERMSPayment for this Purchase Order shall be made in Tanzanian Shillings (TZS) via bank transfer to the supplier's designated account at CRDB Bank, Dar es Salaam Branch. The payment schedule is as follows: a deposit of 30% (TZS 5,669,880) is due upon confirmation and acceptance of this Purchase Order; the remaining 70% (TZS 13,229,720) is due within 14 days of successful delivery, inspection, and written acceptance of all Hairdresser supplies. Late payments shall attract interest at the rate of 2% per month as stipulated under Tanzanian commercial law. All invoices must reference Purchase Order number PO-2025-0472 and include the supplier's TIN for compliance with the Tanzania Revenue Authority (TRA) regulations applicable to businesses operating in Dar es Salaam.
5. QUALITY ASSURANCE AND INSPECTIONAs a professional Hairdresser in Tanzania Dar es Salaam, we require all products and equipment to meet or exceed the quality standards established by the Tanzania Bureau of Standards. Upon delivery, our designated quality inspector will examine each item listed in this Purchase Order. Any Hairdresser tool, product, or fixture found to be defective, damaged in transit, or not conforming to the specifications outlined herein shall be rejected and must be replaced by the supplier within 7 working days at no additional cost. All chemical products (shampoos, conditioners, hair colour kits) must carry valid TBS certification marks and display expiry dates no earlier than 18 months from the date of delivery. 6. TERMS AND CONDITIONS- This Purchase Order is governed by the laws of the United Republic of Tanzania, specifically the Sale of Goods Act (Cap. 262) and applicable commercial regulations in effect in Tanzania Dar es Salaam.
- The supplier warrants that all Hairdresser equipment and products are fit for professional salon use and comply with the Tanzania Occupational Safety and Health Act (OSHA) requirements for personal care establishments.
- Intellectual property: All branded products supplied under this Purchase Order must be genuine, sourced from authorised distributors, and free from any intellectual property infringement claims.
- Warranty: All electrical Hairdresser equipment (hairdryers, flat irons, steam machines) carries a minimum 12-month manufacturer's warranty. Salon furniture (chairs, basins) carries a 24-month structural warranty.
- Force Majeure: Neither party shall be liable for delays caused by events beyond reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, government-mandated closures, or civil unrest affecting Tanzania Dar es Salaam.
