The Human Resources Manager shall be responsible for the complete management of all human capital functions, including but not limited to recruitment, employee relations, compensation and benefits administration, performance management, workforce planning, labour law compliance under the Sri Lankan Industrial Disputes Act, the Shop Act, and the Employment Act No. 48 of 2001, as well as the development and implementation of strategic HR policies aligned with the organisational objectives of the company.

The Human Resources Manager shall report directly to the Chief Executive Officer and shall oversee a team of no fewer than six (6) HR officers. The candidate must possess a minimum of ten (10) years of progressive experience in human resources management within the Sri Lankan corporate environment, with at least five (5) years in a senior managerial capacity. A postgraduate qualification in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or a related discipline from a recognised university in Sri Lanka Colombo or an internationally accredited institution is mandatory. The Human Resources Manager must demonstrate proven expertise in navigating the regulatory framework of the Department of Labour in Sri Lanka and must be proficient in both English and Sinhala/Tamil to effectively communicate with the diverse workforce in Sri Lanka Colombo.

6.1 This Purchase Order is governed by the laws of the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka. Any disputes arising from this Purchase Order shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Sri Lanka Colombo.

6.2 The supplier shall ensure that the Human Resources Manager meets all qualifications, experience criteria, and competency standards specified in Section 4 of this Purchase Order. Failure to meet these criteria shall entitle the buyer to terminate this Purchase Order without penalty.

6.3 The Human Resources Manager shall be bound by a non-disclosure agreement and a non-compete clause for a period of twenty-four (24) months following the commencement of employment, as per the standard employment practices in Sri Lanka Colombo.

6.4 All payments under this Purchase Order shall be made via bank transfer to the supplier's designated account in Sri Lanka Colombo. Invoices must be submitted in triplicate to the procurement department of Meridian Pacific Holdings.

6.5 The supplier warrants that the Human Resources Manager shall not be under any contractual obligation to any other employer at the time of commencement and shall be free to accept this engagement in Sri Lanka Colombo.

6.6 This Purchase Order shall remain valid for a period of forty-five (45) days from the date of issue. If the Human Resources Manager has not been successfully placed within this period, this Purchase Order shall lapse and may be reissued at the buyer's discretion.

This Purchase Order is issued as a formal request for the procurement of the Human Resources Manager services as described herein. The supplier is requested to confirm acceptance of this Purchase Order in writing within five (5) business days of receipt. Upon written confirmation, the supplier shall commence the recruitment and placement process for the Human Resources Manager in Sri Lanka Colombo immediately.
