This Purchase Order is issued by Berliner Industrie Solutions GmbH for the engagement of a qualified Industrial Engineer to provide comprehensive process optimization, production line analysis, and operational efficiency consulting services. The Industrial Engineer shall perform all duties and deliverables at the buyer's primary manufacturing facility located in Germany Berlin, specifically at the plant premises on Friedrichstraße 185, 10117 Germany Berlin. The scope of work encompasses the following key areas:

• Conduct a full value-stream mapping analysis of the existing production lines at the Germany Berlin facility, identifying bottlenecks, waste, and areas for improvement in throughput and cycle time.
• Design and implement a lean manufacturing framework tailored to the specific operational requirements of the Industrial Engineer's assigned production units, including 5S methodology, Kaizen event facilitation, and standard work development.
• Perform time-and-motion studies, work measurement, and ergonomic assessments to optimize workstation layouts and reduce operator fatigue across all shifts at the Germany Berlin site.
• Develop a comprehensive capacity planning model and production scheduling algorithm to be integrated into the existing ERP system (SAP S/4HANA) used at the Germany Berlin operations center.
• Prepare a detailed feasibility report for the proposed automation upgrade of Assembly Line 3, including ROI analysis, risk assessment, and a phased implementation roadmap.
• Deliver a minimum of four (4) on-site training sessions for plant supervisors and line operators in Germany Berlin, covering process improvement methodologies and data-driven decision-making techniques.
• Provide monthly progress reports and a final comprehensive project report in both German and English, submitted to the buyer's management team in Germany Berlin.

1. This Purchase Order is governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany. Any disputes arising from this Purchase Order shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in Germany Berlin.
2. The Industrial Engineer engaged under this Purchase Order shall comply with all applicable German labor regulations, data protection laws (GDPR), and occupational health and safety standards (DGUV) while performing duties at the Germany Berlin facility.
3. Payment shall be made via bank transfer to the supplier's designated account within thirty (30) calendar days of receipt of a valid invoice. Late payments shall incur interest at the statutory rate under § 288 BGB.
4. The Industrial Engineer shall maintain full confidentiality regarding all proprietary processes, trade secrets, and operational data encountered during the engagement at the Germany Berlin site. A separate Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) is referenced under contract number NDA-2025-BER-0112.
5. The buyer reserves the right to inspect and audit the work performed by the Industrial Engineer at any reasonable time during the project duration. All deliverables must be approved in writing by the buyer's project manager before final acceptance.
6. Any changes to the scope, timeline, or deliverables outlined in this Purchase Order must be documented in a formal Change Order signed by both parties. No verbal modifications to this Purchase Order shall be binding.
7. The supplier warrants that the Industrial Engineer assigned to this Purchase Order holds a minimum of a Master's degree in Industrial Engineering or an equivalent qualification recognized in Germany, and possesses a minimum of eight (8) years of relevant professional experience in manufacturing process optimization.
8. Force majeure events, including but not limited to natural disasters, pandemics, or government-mandated closures affecting operations in Germany Berlin, shall suspend obligations under this Purchase Order for the duration of the event, provided written notice is given within five (5) business days.
9. This Purchase Order becomes effective upon signature by both parties and remains valid until full completion of all deliverables and final payment, unless terminated earlier in accordance with the termination clause.
