Description of Services – Industrial Engineer Engagement

This Purchase Order is issued by Al-Rashid Industrial Solutions Co., Ltd. to formally request and authorize the procurement of professional services from an experienced Industrial Engineer to be deployed at our manufacturing and logistics facility located in Saudi Arabia Jeddah. The engagement of this Industrial Engineer is critical to our ongoing operational optimization program and aligns with the Kingdom's Vision 2030 industrial development objectives. The Industrial Engineer shall be responsible for process improvement, workflow analysis, capacity planning, and lean manufacturing implementation across all production lines at our Jeddah site.

Scope of Work & Responsibilities

The Industrial Engineer engaged under this Purchase Order shall perform the following duties at the designated facility in Saudi Arabia Jeddah:

Conduct comprehensive time-and-motion studies, work measurement, and standard time development for all production processes at the Jeddah plant.
Design and implement process flow improvements to reduce cycle times by a minimum of 15% within the first six months of engagement.
Develop and maintain capacity models, bottleneck analyses, and production scheduling systems tailored to the operational context of Saudi Arabia Jeddah.
Lead cross-functional Kaizen events and Six Sigma (DMAIC) projects in coordination with plant management and quality assurance teams.
Ensure all engineering recommendations comply with Saudi Arabian Standards Organization (SASO) regulations, Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development (HRSD) labor laws, and local municipal bylaws applicable in Jeddah.
Prepare monthly progress reports and quarterly performance dashboards for submission to the Project Director at Al-Rashid Industrial Solutions, Jeddah headquarters.
Provide technical mentorship and structured training to a minimum of eight (8) Saudi national engineers as part of the Saudization (Nitaqat) compliance program.

Terms and Conditions

Payment Terms: Payment shall be made in monthly installments within thirty (30) days of receipt of a valid invoice. The first payment shall be due upon successful commencement of the Industrial Engineer's duties at the Jeddah site.
Commencement: The Industrial Engineer must report to the facility at King Fahd Road, Al-Shati, Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, no later than 01 July 2025. Failure to commence within five (5) business days of the required start date shall constitute a material breach of this Purchase Order.
Working Hours: The Industrial Engineer shall observe the standard working week in Saudi Arabia (Sunday through Thursday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with a one-hour prayer break), subject to project exigencies approved in writing by the Project Director.
Visa & Residency: The vendor shall ensure that the Industrial Engineer holds a valid Iqama (residency permit) and professional work visa issued by the Saudi Arabian authorities. All visa and sponsorship costs are included in the unit prices stated above.
Confidentiality: The Industrial Engineer shall treat all proprietary data, process documentation, and trade secrets of Al-Rashid Industrial Solutions as strictly confidential. This obligation survives the termination of this Purchase Order for a period of three (3) years.
Termination: Either party may terminate this Purchase Order with thirty (30) days' written notice. In the event of termination, the vendor shall be compensated for all services rendered up to the effective date of termination.
Governing Law: This Purchase Order shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Any disputes shall be resolved through the competent courts in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.
Insurance: The vendor shall maintain comprehensive professional liability insurance and workers' compensation coverage for the Industrial Engineer throughout the duration of this engagement in Saudi Arabia Jeddah.

Acceptance & Authorization

By signing below, both parties acknowledge and agree to all terms, conditions, and specifications outlined in this Purchase Order for the engagement of an Industrial Engineer at the facility in Saudi Arabia Jeddah. This document constitutes a binding procurement instrument and shall remain in full force and effect until the completion of all deliverables or until formally terminated in accordance with the terms herein.
