This Purchase Order is issued by Meridian Manufacturing & Process Solutions Ltd. to formally procure the professional services of a qualified Industrial Engineer to be deployed at the buyer's manufacturing facility located at Unit 4, Riverside Business Park, Isle of Dogs, London E14 9JB, United Kingdom. The Industrial Engineer engaged under this Purchase Order shall perform the following duties at the buyer's premises in United Kingdom London:
- Conduct a full operational audit of all production lines, identifying inefficiencies, redundancies, and areas for throughput improvement.
- Develop and implement a comprehensive lean manufacturing strategy aligned with ISO 9001:2015 quality management standards applicable in the United Kingdom.
- Prepare detailed process flow diagrams, standard operating procedures, and work instruction documentation for all modified processes.
- Coordinate with the buyer's Health and Safety team to ensure all proposed process changes comply with the Health and Safety at Work etc. Act 1974 and relevant UK regulatory requirements.
- Deliver a final project report within five (5) working days of project completion, including financial savings projections and a 12-month continuous improvement roadmap.
- Maintain full confidentiality of all proprietary manufacturing data, trade secrets, and operational information encountered during the engagement in United Kingdom London.
- Governing Law: This Purchase Order and all associated services shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales, United Kingdom. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of London, United Kingdom.
- Payment: Invoicing shall be submitted monthly in arrears. Payment is due within thirty (30) calendar days of receipt of a valid VAT invoice. Late payments shall accrue interest at a rate of 4% per annum above the Bank of England base rate, in accordance with the Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998.
- Commencement: The Industrial Engineer shall commence duties on 1 July 2025 at 08:00 BST at the buyer's facility in United Kingdom London, unless otherwise agreed in writing by both parties.
- Termination: Either party may terminate this Purchase Order by providing fourteen (14) days' written notice. In the event of termination, the buyer shall pay for all services rendered up to the date of termination.
- Insurance: The supplier shall maintain professional indemnity insurance of no less than £5,000,000 and public liability insurance of no less than £10,000,000 for the duration of the engagement in United Kingdom London.
- Intellectual Property: All reports, plans, and documentation produced by the Industrial Engineer specifically for the buyer under this Purchase Order shall become the sole property of the buyer upon full payment.
