This Purchase Order constitutes a binding agreement between Meridian Media Group Pty Ltd (hereinafter "the Purchaser") and Dr. Eleanor M. Hartley, operating as Hartley Investigative Media (hereinafter "the Journalist"), for the provision of professional journalism and editorial services as described in the line items above.
The Journalist warrants that all work delivered under this Purchase Order shall be original, free from plagiarism, and shall not infringe upon any third-party intellectual property rights. The Journalist shall indemnify the Purchaser against any claims arising from a breach of this warranty.
All deliverables must be submitted to the Australia Brisbane editorial office no later than the dates specified in the project timeline attached as Schedule A. Late delivery beyond five (5) business days may result in a penalty of 2% of the total Purchase Order value per day of delay.
The Journalist shall comply with all applicable Australian laws, including but not limited to the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth), the Australian Press Council's Code of Ethics, and any relevant Queensland state legislation governing media operations in Australia Brisbane.
Payment shall be made via direct bank transfer to the account nominated by the Journalist within thirty (30) calendar days of receipt of a valid tax invoice referencing this Purchase Order number (MMG-PO-2025-04872).
The Purchaser retains full editorial discretion over the final content. The Journalist acknowledges that the Purchaser may request reasonable revisions, provided such revisions do not alter the fundamental factual accuracy or journalistic integrity of the work.
Confidentiality: The Journalist shall treat all non-public information obtained during the course of this engagement as strictly confidential. This obligation survives the termination of this Purchase Order for a period of five (5) years.
This Purchase Order is governed by the laws of the State of Queensland, Australia. Any disputes arising from this Purchase Order shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Australia Brisbane.
Either party may terminate this Purchase Order with fourteen (14) days' written notice. In the event of termination, the Journalist shall be compensated for all services rendered up to the date of termination, pro-rated accordingly.
All work product created under this Purchase Order shall be the sole property of Meridian Media Group Pty Ltd upon full payment. The Journalist shall not republish, syndicate, or distribute any portion of the work without prior written consent.

By signing below, both parties acknowledge and agree to the terms, conditions, and scope of work outlined in this Purchase Order for the engagement of the Journalist in Australia Brisbane.
