This Purchase Order is issued by Accra Media & Broadcasting Group Limited (hereinafter referred to as the "Buyer") to engage the services of Ms. Efua Mensah-Bonsu, a professional Journalist and investigative reporter based in Ghana Accra, for the purpose of producing in-depth journalistic content for the Buyer's broadcast and digital platforms. The Journalist shall deliver original, fact-checked, and ethically sourced reporting in accordance with the Ghana Journalists Association (GJA) Code of Ethics and the Ghana Press Council standards. All work shall be conducted within the metropolitan area of Ghana Accra and its immediate environs, including but not limited to the Greater Accra Region.

1. Scope of Work: The Journalist shall perform all journalistic duties in strict compliance with the Ghanaian legal framework, including the Freedom of Information Act, 2019 (Act 1037), and the Data Protection Act, 2012 (Act 843). All reporting shall be conducted ethically and with due diligence.
2. Delivery Schedule: All deliverables outlined in this Purchase Order must be submitted to the Buyer's editorial office in Ghana Accra no later than 30 July 2025. Partial deliveries may be accepted on a weekly basis, subject to the Buyer's editorial approval.
3. Payment Terms: Payment shall be made within fourteen (14) calendar days of receipt of a valid tax invoice from the Journalist. Payment shall be processed via bank transfer to the account designated by the Journalist in Ghana Accra. The Buyer reserves the right to withhold payment for any deliverable that fails to meet the agreed quality standards.
4. Intellectual Property: Upon full payment, all journalistic content, including but not limited to written articles, photographs, audio recordings, and video footage produced under this Purchase Order, shall become the exclusive property of Accra Media & Broadcasting Group Limited. The Journalist retains the right to be credited as the author or reporter of all published material.
5. Confidentiality: The Journalist agrees to maintain strict confidentiality regarding the Buyer's internal editorial strategies, unreleased stories, and proprietary information. This obligation shall survive the termination of this Purchase Order for a period of two (2) years.
6. Termination: Either party may terminate this Purchase Order by providing fourteen (14) days' written notice. In the event of termination, the Buyer shall pay for all services satisfactorily rendered up to the date of termination.
7. Governing Law: This Purchase Order shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Ghana. Any disputes arising from this Purchase Order shall be resolved through arbitration in Ghana Accra in accordance with the Arbitration Act, 2099 (Act 626).
8. Insurance and Liability: The Journalist shall be responsible for obtaining adequate professional indemnity insurance covering all journalistic activities conducted in Ghana Accra. The Buyer shall not be held liable for any personal injury or property damage sustained by the Journalist during the course of fieldwork.
9. Compliance: The Journalist warrants that all content produced under this Purchase Order shall be original, free from plagiarism, and shall not infringe upon the intellectual property rights of any third party. The Journalist shall comply with all applicable regulations of the Ghana Press Council and the National Communications Authority (NCA).

This Purchase Order constitutes a formal and binding request for the engagement of the named Journalist for the services described herein. By signing below, both parties acknowledge and agree to the terms, conditions, and deliverables set forth in this document. This Purchase Order is valid for a period of thirty (30) days from the date of issue, after which it shall lapse unless renewed in writing by the Buyer.
