Terms and Conditions of This Purchase Order

  1. This Purchase Order is issued by Nile Valley Media Group, headquartered in Sudan Khartoum, and constitutes a binding agreement for the engagement of the named Journalist and the procurement of associated equipment and services as itemized above.
  2. The Journalist shall produce all deliverables in accordance with the editorial standards of Nile Valley Media Group and in full compliance with the Press and Media Law of the Republic of Sudan, including all provisions applicable to journalists operating in Sudan Khartoum.
  3. All equipment listed in this Purchase Order (Items 3, 4, and 5) shall be delivered to the Journalist’s registered office in Sudan Khartoum no later than 28 June 2025. Title to the equipment shall remain with Nile Valley Media Group for the duration of the contract and shall be returned upon termination.
  4. Payment shall be processed via bank transfer to the account specified above within thirty (30) calendar days of receipt of a valid invoice. Late payments shall accrue interest at the rate of 2% per month as stipulated under Sudanese commercial law.
  5. The Journalist warrants that all content produced under this Purchase Order shall be original, free from plagiarism, and shall not infringe upon the intellectual property rights of any third party. The Journalist shall indemnify Nile Valley Media Group against any claims arising from breach of this warranty.
  6. Either party may terminate this Purchase Order with thirty (30) days’ written notice. In the event of early termination, the Journalist shall be compensated for all services rendered up to the termination date, and all company-owned equipment must be returned to the Sudan Khartoum headquarters within seven (7) business days.
  7. This Purchase Order shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Sudan. Any disputes arising from this Purchase Order shall be resolved through the competent courts in Sudan Khartoum.
  8. The Journalist agrees to maintain professional press credentials issued by the Sudan Press Council (SPC) in good standing throughout the term of this Purchase Order and to present such credentials when conducting fieldwork in Sudan Khartoum or its surrounding regions.
  9. All communications regarding this Purchase Order, including amendments, change orders, and notices, shall be directed to the Procurement Department at the Sudan Khartoum office and shall be in writing.
