This Purchase Order is issued by Anadolu Independent Media Group A.S. to procure specialized field equipment, recording devices, and professional support services required for the daily operations of a Journalist assigned to the Ankara bureau. The Journalist in question, Mr. Can Yılmaz, is a senior investigative reporter whose primary coverage area encompasses the political, economic, and social developments occurring in Turkey Ankara. Given the demanding nature of reporting from the capital city of the Republic of Turkey, this Purchase Order ensures that the Journalist is equipped with industry-standard tools to gather, record, verify, and transmit news content from Turkey Ankara and its surrounding provinces. All physical goods listed in this Purchase Order shall be delivered to the Ankara bureau address (Kızılay Mahallesi, Atatürk Bulvarı No. 142, Çankaya, 06690 Ankara, Turkey) no later than 28 June 2025. The seller shall provide a delivery note and a copy of the commercial invoice at the time of handover. The Journalist, Mr. Can Yılmaz, or his designated representative at the Ankara bureau, shall inspect all items within five (5) business days of delivery. Any defects, missing components, or non-conformities must be reported in writing to the seller within this inspection period. Services (items 6, 8, and 10) shall commence on the date of full payment and are to be rendered in accordance with the scope described in Section 4.
6. Payment TermsPayment for this Purchase Order shall be made via bank transfer to the seller's designated account within thirty (30) calendar days from the date of invoice issuance. The total amount due is Six Hundred Forty Thousand Two Hundred Turkish Lira (TRY 640,200.00), inclusive of all applicable taxes. The buyer reserves the right to withhold payment for any line item that fails to meet the acceptance criteria outlined in Section 5. Late payments shall accrue interest at the rate of 1.5% per month, in accordance with Turkish commercial law (Türk Ticaret Kanunu).
7. Terms and Conditions- This Purchase Order is governed by the laws of the Republic of Turkey. Any disputes arising from this Purchase Order shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Ankara, Turkey.
- The seller warrants that all equipment supplied is new, unused, and free from manufacturing defects for a minimum period of twenty-four (24) months from the date of delivery.
- The seller shall comply with all applicable Turkish data protection regulations (KVKK) and international press freedom standards when handling any materials provided by the Journalist.
- Neither party shall be liable for delays caused by force majeure events, including but not limited to natural disasters, government-imposed restrictions, or civil unrest in Turkey Ankara or elsewhere in Turkey.
- This Purchase Order may only be amended or modified by a written addendum signed by both parties. Verbal agreements are not binding.
- The seller acknowledges that the equipment and services procured under this Purchase Order are intended exclusively for the professional use of a Journalist engaged in legitimate news gathering and reporting activities in Turkey Ankara.
- All intellectual property rights in any content created by the Journalist using the procured equipment remain solely with Anadolu Independent Media Group A.S.
- The seller shall not disclose the identity, location, or reporting activities of the Journalist to any third party without prior written consent from the buyer, in compliance with press protection standards applicable in Turkey.
