This Purchase Order is issued by Central Asia Media & Communications Group LLC to engage the services of a qualified Journalist for the production of a comprehensive investigative report series covering economic development, infrastructure modernization, and cultural heritage preservation in Uzbekistan Tashkent. The Journalist shall conduct field reporting, interviews, and editorial writing in accordance with the scope of work defined below. All deliverables shall be produced in both English and Uzbek languages, with the primary working location being Uzbekistan Tashkent.

- Acceptance: This Purchase Order shall become binding upon written acceptance by the Journalist within five (5) business days of the date of issue. The Journalist must confirm acceptance in writing via email to the Buyer's procurement department in Tashkent, Uzbekistan.
- Scope of Work: The Journalist shall perform all services in strict compliance with the journalistic ethics standards established by the Uzbekistan Press Council and applicable media regulations of the Republic of Uzbekistan. All reporting conducted in Uzbekistan Tashkent must adhere to local press laws and permit requirements.
- Timeline: All deliverables under this Purchase Order must be completed no later than 30 September 2025. The Journalist shall submit a progress report to the Buyer every ten (10) working days detailing completed tasks and upcoming milestones in Uzbekistan Tashkent.
- Payment Terms: Payment shall be made in three installments: 40% ($6,400.00) upon execution of this Purchase Order; 40% ($6,400.00) upon delivery of the first three (3) feature articles and completion of all interviews; and 20% ($3,200.00) upon final acceptance of all deliverables. Payment shall be made via bank transfer to the Journalist's designated account within Uzbekistan.
- Intellectual Property: Upon full payment, all written articles, photographs, video footage, and related materials produced by the Journalist in Uzbekistan Tashkent shall become the exclusive property of the Buyer. The Journalist retains the right to be credited as the author in all published works.
- Confidentiality: The Journalist agrees to maintain strict confidentiality regarding any non-public information obtained during the course of reporting in Uzbekistan Tashkent. This obligation shall survive the termination of this Purchase Order for a period of two (2) years.
- Termination: Either party may terminate this Purchase Order with fourteen (14) days written notice. In the event of termination, the Journalist shall be compensated for all services rendered up to the date of termination, and all materials in progress shall be delivered to the Buyer.
- Governing Law: This Purchase Order shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the Civil Code of the Republic of Uzbekistan and applicable commercial regulations. Any disputes arising from this Purchase Order shall be resolved through the Tashkent City Arbitration Court in Uzbekistan Tashkent.
- Force Majeure: Neither party shall be liable for failure to perform obligations under this Purchase Order due to events beyond reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, government-imposed restrictions on press activity in Uzbekistan, or public health emergencies affecting Tashkent.
- Compliance: The Journalist warrants that they hold a valid press card issued by the Uzbekistan Press Council and that all reporting activities in Uzbekistan Tashkent shall comply with the Law of the Republic of Uzbekistan on Mass Media and related regulatory frameworks.
All deliverables shall be submitted electronically to the Buyer's editorial office located at 42 Amir Temur Avenue, Tashkent, Uzbekistan. The Buyer shall have ten (10) business days to review and accept or request revisions to each deliverable. Acceptance shall be confirmed in writing. The Journalist shall make reasonable revisions at no additional cost within five (5) business days of receiving written feedback.
