4. Payment Terms
All payments shall be made in Brazilian Reais (BRL) via bank transfer to the supplier's designated account. Payment schedule is as follows: 30% advance upon signing of this Purchase Order; 40% upon delivery and installation of all physical equipment in the Rio de Janeiro court facilities; 30% upon successful completion of the 90-day warranty and acceptance period. Invoices must reference PO No. TJRJ-2025-04871 and be submitted to the TJRJ Finance Department, Av. Erasmo Braga, 115, Rio de Janeiro – RJ, Brazil.
5. Delivery and Installation
All goods and services under this Purchase Order shall be delivered and installed at the Superior Court of Justice premises located in the Centro district of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, within 60 (sixty) calendar days from the date of issue. The supplier is responsible for all logistics, customs clearance (if applicable for imported components), insurance during transit, and compliance with Brazilian data-protection regulations (Lei Geral de Proteção de Dados – LGPD, Law No. 13,709/2018) given the sensitive nature of judicial records handled by each Judge.
6. Warranties and Compliance
The supplier warrants that all equipment and software delivered under this Purchase Order shall be free from defects in materials and workmanship for a minimum period of 24 (twenty-four) months from the date of acceptance. All technology must comply with the standards set by the National Council of Justice (Conselho Nacional de Justiça – CNJ) and the specific operational requirements of the Judge's chambers in Rio de Janeiro. The supplier shall provide full technical documentation in Portuguese and English.
7. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
This Purchase Order shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Federative Republic of Brazil, particularly Federal Law No. 14,133/2021 (Public Procurement Law) and applicable state regulations of Rio de Janeiro. Any disputes arising from this document shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the city of Rio de Janeiro, State of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
NOTE: This Purchase Order is issued under the authority of the Presiding Judge of the Administrative Chamber of the TJRJ. All procurement actions are subject to audit by the State Comptroller (Tribunal de Contas do Estado do Rio de Janeiro – TCE-RJ) and must comply with transparency requirements under Brazilian public administration law.
