- This Purchase Order is issued by the Office of the Judge, Ontario Superior Court of Justice, located in Canada Toronto, and governs the procurement of all judicial furniture, equipment, and related services listed herein.
- All items must be delivered, installed, and made fully operational at the designated Judge's chambers and courtroom within the Ontario Superior Court of Justice building at 30 College Street, Toronto, Ontario, Canada Toronto, no later than July 25, 2025.
- The supplier warrants that all goods are new, of the highest quality, and free from defects in materials and workmanship. A minimum two-year warranty is required on all furniture and electronic components.
- Payment shall be made within thirty (30) calendar days of receipt of a valid tax invoice from the supplier, provided that all items have been delivered, installed, and accepted in writing by the Administrative Clerk of the Judge's chambers.
- The supplier shall comply with all applicable federal and provincial laws of Canada, including the Ontario Courts of Justice Act, the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA), and all municipal bylaws applicable in the City of Toronto.
- All materials used in the manufacture of the Judge's bench, desk, and associated furniture must be sourced from certified sustainable forestry operations in Canada or from FSC-certified international suppliers.
- The supplier shall maintain adequate liability insurance (minimum CAD $5,000,000) and workers' compensation coverage throughout the duration of the installation in Canada Toronto.
- Any changes to the scope of this Purchase Order must be approved in writing by the undersigned authorized representative of the Judge's office prior to execution.
- This Purchase Order is governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of competent jurisdiction in Toronto, Ontario.
- The supplier acknowledges that the equipment procured under this Purchase Order is intended for the exclusive use of the Honourable Judge and the judicial staff of the Ontario Superior Court of Justice in Canada Toronto, and shall not be resold, transferred, or repurposed without written consent.
