2. Purpose and Scope of This Purchase Order
This Purchase Order is issued by the Baghdad Judicial Procurement Authority under the authority of the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Iraq. The purpose of this Purchase Order is to procure a comprehensive set of judicial equipment, furnishings, and official regalia specifically designated for the use of a Judge presiding over the Baghdad Central Criminal Court. 4. Delivery and Installation Terms
All goods specified in this Purchase Order shall be delivered to the Baghdad Judicial Complex, Al-Mansour District, Baghdad, Iraq, no later than 30 September 2025. The supplier shall be responsible for all transportation, insurance, and handling costs from the point of origin to the delivery location in Iraq Baghdad. Installation of the Judge's bench, audio-visual system, and courtroom furniture package shall be completed within fourteen (14) calendar days of the delivery date. The supplier shall coordinate directly with the court administrator of the Baghdad Central Criminal Court to schedule installation at times that do not disrupt ongoing judicial proceedings.
5. Payment Terms
Payment for this Purchase Order shall be made in accordance with the following schedule: (a) A deposit of thirty percent (30%) of the total Purchase Order value shall be remitted within ten (10) business days of the signing of this document; (b) A second payment of fifty percent (50%) shall be due upon confirmed delivery and acceptance of all physical goods at the Iraq Baghdad delivery site; (c) The final balance of twenty percent (20%) shall be paid within thirty (30) days following the completion of installation, calibration, and the training services outlined in Item No. 10. All payments shall be made via government bank transfer to the supplier's designated account. Late payments shall incur interest at the rate prescribed by Iraqi commercial law.
6. Quality Assurance and Acceptance
All items procured under this Purchase Order must meet the quality standards set forth by the Iraqi Judicial Council. The Judge designated to receive these items, in consultation with the court administrator, shall conduct a formal inspection and acceptance review within seven (7) business days of delivery. Any item found to be defective, non-conforming, or not matching the specifications stated in this Purchase Order shall be rejected and replaced at the supplier's sole expense within twenty-one (21) days. The supplier warrants that all goods are new, free from defects, and fit for judicial use in Iraq Baghdad for a minimum period of five (5) years from the date of acceptance.
7. Compliance and Legal Provisions
This Purchase Order is governed by the laws of the Republic of Iraq, including the Iraqi Public Procurement Law and the regulations of the Ministry of Justice. All transactions under this Purchase Order shall comply with anti-corruption statutes in force in Iraq Baghdad. The supplier certifies that it holds all necessary business licenses, tax registrations, and import permits (where applicable) to conduct this transaction. Any dispute arising from this Purchase Order shall be resolved through the Baghdad Commercial Court in accordance with Iraqi procedural law.
Notes and Special Conditions:1. This Purchase Order is non-transferable and may not be assigned to any third party without prior written consent from the Baghdad Judicial Procurement Authority.
2. The supplier shall provide a comprehensive warranty certificate for each item, specifically noting the intended use by a Judge in the Baghdad Central Criminal Court.
