- Scope of Engagement: The Judge shall serve as a primary evaluator for the 2025 Manila International Business Innovation Competition. The Judge is expected to be present at the SMX Convention Center in Philippines Manila from 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM on each of the three event days (August 22, 23, and 24, 2025). The Judge shall evaluate presentations, conduct Q&A sessions, assign scores based on the rubric provided, and participate in panel deliberations.
- Qualifications: The Judge must hold a minimum of a Master's degree in Business Administration, Entrepreneurship, or a related field, and must have a minimum of ten (10) years of professional experience in venture capital, corporate innovation, or academic research in business. The Judge must be a resident of the Philippines and available for the entire duration of the event in Manila.
- Confidentiality: The Judge agrees to maintain strict confidentiality regarding all proprietary information, business plans, and trade secrets disclosed by participating teams during the evaluation process in Philippines Manila. A Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) must be executed prior to the pre-event briefing.
- Payment: Payment shall be made via bank transfer to the account designated by the Judge within thirty (30) calendar days from the receipt of a valid official receipt or invoice. The total amount under this Purchase Order is One Hundred Twenty-Four Thousand Four Hundred Thirty-Two Philippine Pesos (PHP 124,432.00), inclusive of 12% Value Added Tax.
- Cancellation Policy: Cancellation of this Purchase Order by Manila Event Management Corporation more than fourteen (14) days prior to the event date shall result in a 50% refund of the total amount. Cancellation within fourteen (14) days shall result in no refund. Cancellation by the Judge without valid cause shall require full reimbursement of all expenses already incurred.
- Deliverables: The Judge shall submit written evaluation reports for all 45 teams within seven (7) business days following the conclusion of the event. Reports must be submitted in both printed and digital (PDF) format to the Procurement Department of Manila Event Management Corporation in Philippines Manila.
- Governing Law: This Purchase Order shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of the Philippines. Any disputes arising from this Purchase Order shall be resolved through the courts of competent jurisdiction in Metro Manila, Philippines.
- Force Majeure: Neither party shall be liable for failure to perform obligations under this Purchase Order due to acts of God, government orders, natural disasters, or other events beyond reasonable control, provided that the affected party notifies the other in writing within 48 hours.
