Terms and Conditions

Scope of Supply: All items listed above are procured exclusively for the Judge and judicial personnel at the Supreme Court of Qatar, Doha. The supplier shall ensure that every item is new, unused, and in full compliance with the technical specifications provided in Annex A of this Purchase Order.
Delivery: The supplier shall deliver all goods to the Supreme Court Building, Al Sadd District, Doha, Qatar, no later than 15 August 2025. Delivery shall be made between 08:00 and 16:00 local time on weekdays. The supplier is responsible for all transportation, insurance, and handling costs up to the point of delivery in Doha.
Installation and Commissioning: The supplier shall provide full installation, calibration, and commissioning of all electronic and audio-visual equipment. A minimum of three (3) days of on-site technical support in Doha shall be provided following installation to ensure the Judge and court staff are fully operational with all systems.
Warranty: All items carry a minimum warranty period of two (2) years from the date of acceptance. Electronic components shall carry a minimum three (3) year warranty. The supplier shall respond to any warranty claim within forty-eight (48) hours of notification.
Payment: Payment shall be made in Qatari Riyal (QAR) via bank transfer within forty-five (45) calendar days of the Buyer’s written acceptance of the delivered goods. A 10% retention shall be withheld until the warranty period expires without unresolved defects.
Compliance: All goods must comply with the regulations of the Ministry of Justice of Qatar and the standards set by the Qatar Standards and Metrology Organization (QSO). The supplier shall provide all necessary certificates of origin, conformity, and safety documentation upon delivery.
Confidentiality: The supplier acknowledges that this Purchase Order pertains to judicial operations. All information related to the Judge’s chamber, courtroom layout, and security systems shall be treated as strictly confidential and shall not be disclosed to any third party without written authorization from the Supreme Court of Qatar.
Penalties: In the event of delayed delivery beyond the stipulated deadline, the supplier shall incur a penalty of 0.5% of the total Purchase Order value per day of delay, up to a maximum of 10% of the total value. Delays exceeding thirty (30) days shall entitle the Buyer to cancel this Purchase Order without liability.
Governing Law: This Purchase Order shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Qatar. Any disputes arising from this order shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Doha, Qatar.
Acceptance: The Buyer shall have ten (10) business days from the date of delivery to inspect and accept or reject the goods. Rejection must be communicated in writing with specific reasons. Accepted goods shall be deemed final upon the Buyer’s written confirmation.
