Delivery: All items shall be delivered to the Circuit Court of Cook County facility at 226 S. LaSalle Street, Chicago, Illinois 60604, United States, no later than August 15, 2025. Delivery must be scheduled in coordination with the Judge’s chambers to minimize disruption to ongoing court proceedings.
Payment Terms: Net 45 days from date of invoice and acceptance of goods. Payment shall be issued via electronic funds transfer (EFT) to the vendor account on file. The vendor must provide a W-9 form prior to first payment.
Acceptance: The Judge’s administrative staff shall inspect all delivered items within five (5) business days of delivery. Any defects, damage, or non-conforming items must be reported in writing to the Chief Procurement Officer within that period.
Warranty: All goods shall carry a minimum two-year manufacturer’s warranty. The Judge’s bench and gavel shall carry a five-year structural warranty. The vendor shall provide all warranty documentation at the time of delivery.
Compliance: All products must comply with applicable United States federal and Illinois state regulations, including the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) for any installed equipment. The vendor certifies that all materials are sourced in compliance with United States trade laws.
Confidentiality: The vendor acknowledges that this Purchase Order pertains to the operational needs of a sitting Judge in the United States Chicago judicial system. No information regarding the contents, specifications, or delivery schedule of this order shall be disclosed to any third party without written authorization from the Presiding Judge.
Right of Cancellation: The Circuit Court of Cook County reserves the right to cancel or modify this Purchase Order in whole or in part, with or without cause, upon written notice. In the event of cancellation after production has commenced, the vendor shall be compensated for documented, non-recoverable costs up to 50% of the affected line items.
Governing Law: This Purchase Order shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Illinois and applicable United States federal law. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Cook County, Chicago, Illinois.
Insurance: The vendor shall maintain general liability insurance of no less than $2,000,000 per occurrence and $5,000,000 aggregate, with the Circuit Court of Cook County named as an additional insured, for the duration of this Purchase Order.
Anti-Corruption: The vendor represents and warrants that no part of the consideration paid under this Purchase Order has been or will be offered, paid, or promised to any public official, including any Judge, clerk, or court staff member, in violation of 18 U.S.C. § 201 or Illinois Compiled Statutes 5 ILCS 120/.
