All amounts are quoted in Australian Dollars (AUD). GST is applicable as both parties are registered for Goods and Services Tax under Australian tax law.
- Governing Law: This Purchase Order shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of New South Wales, Australia Sydney, and the Commonwealth of Australia.
- Employment Standards: The Laboratory Technician shall be engaged in full compliance with the National Employment Standards (NES) under the Fair Work Act 2009 (Cth) and the relevant Modern Award (Health Professionals and Support Services Award 2020). All entitlements including annual leave, personal/carer's leave, and public holidays as observed in Australia Sydney shall apply.
- Superannuation: The supplier shall ensure that superannuation contributions at the current statutory rate (11.5% as at 1 July 2025) are made in respect of the Laboratory Technician's remuneration in accordance with the Superannuation Guarantee (Administration) Act 1992.
- Work Health and Safety: The Laboratory Technician's duties shall be performed in strict adherence to the Work Health and Safety Act 2011 (NSW) and the Work Health and Safety Regulation 2017 (NSW). The supplier warrants that the Laboratory Technician will hold a current White Card (General Construction Induction) and relevant laboratory safety certification prior to commencing duties in Australia Sydney.
- Confidentiality and Data Protection: The Laboratory Technician shall be bound by confidentiality obligations consistent with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles. All patient and specimen data handled by the Laboratory Technician at the Australia Sydney facility shall be treated as sensitive information.
- Quality Assurance: The Laboratory Technician shall participate in external quality assurance (EQA) schemes administered by the Royal College of Pathologists of Australasia (RCPA) and maintain proficiency records as required by the Australian Council on Laboratory Accreditation (ASCLAC).
- Payment: Payment shall be made within thirty (30) calendar days of receipt of a valid tax invoice from the supplier. Payment shall be made by electronic funds transfer (EFT) to the supplier's nominated Australian bank account.
- Termination: Either party may terminate this Purchase Order with thirty (30) days' written notice. In the event of termination, the supplier shall ensure an orderly transition of the Laboratory Technician's duties and handover of all laboratory records and equipment.
- Dispute Resolution: Any dispute arising under this Purchase Order shall first be referred to mediation under the Fair Work Commission (NSW) before either party may commence proceedings in the District Court of New South Wales, Australia Sydney.
The Laboratory Technician shall commence duties no later than 1 July 2025 at the following location:

The Laboratory Technician will report to the Senior Laboratory Manager, Dr. James Whitfield, and will operate within the standard laboratory hours of 07:00 to 16:00, Monday to Friday, with rostered weekend shifts as required by the laboratory's operational schedule in Australia Sydney.
This Purchase Order is valid for acceptance within fourteen (14) calendar days of the date of issue. Acceptance of this Purchase Order constitutes full agreement to all terms, conditions, and line items specified herein.
