This Purchase Order is issued for the recruitment, placement, and ongoing professional management of a qualified Laboratory Technician to be assigned to the Biomedical Research Institute of Southern Italy, located in Italy Naples. The Laboratory Technician shall perform all duties consistent with the Italian national qualification standards (Qualifica Professionale di Tecnico di Laboratorio) as regulated by the Ministry of Health of the Italian Republic and the regional labor authority of Campania.

The Laboratory Technician shall be responsible for, but not limited to: preparing and calibrating laboratory equipment; conducting routine chemical, biological, and microbiological analyses; maintaining accurate documentation of all experimental results; ensuring compliance with ISO 15189 and ISO 17025 quality management standards; managing hazardous materials in accordance with Italian Legislative Decree D.Lgs. 81/2008; and providing technical support to senior researchers and clinical staff within the Italy Naples facility.

3.1 This Purchase Order is governed by the laws of the Italian Republic. Any disputes arising from the interpretation or execution of this Purchase Order shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of Italy Naples, Province of Napoli, Region of Campania.

3.2 The Laboratory Technician shall be engaged under an Italian labor contract (Contratto di Lavoro) in full compliance with the CCNL (Contratto Collettivo Nazionale di Lavoro) applicable to the healthcare and research sector. The Supplier guarantees that all social security contributions (INPS, INAIL) and tax withholdings (IRPEF) shall be duly remitted in accordance with Italian fiscal law.

3.3 The Laboratory Technician must hold a valid Italian professional qualification (Attestato di Qualifica) and a current health and safety certification (D.Lgs. 81/2008 – Art. 37). The Supplier warrants that the Laboratory Technician shall possess a minimum of three (3) years of documented professional experience in clinical or research laboratory environments.

3.4 Payment terms: Net 30 days from the date of invoice receipt. Payment shall be made via bank transfer (Bonifico Bancario) to the Supplier's designated account. The Buyer reserves the right to withhold payment in the event of non-conformity of the Laboratory Technician's performance or documentation.

3.5 The Supplier shall provide a replacement Laboratory Technician of equivalent or superior qualification within fifteen (15) business days should the originally assigned Laboratory Technician become unavailable for any reason, at no additional cost to the Buyer.

3.6 All services rendered under this Purchase Order shall be performed at the Buyer's facility in Italy Naples, or at such other location within the metropolitan area of Napoli as mutually agreed in writing.

3.7 The Laboratory Technician shall be bound by a confidentiality and non-disclosure agreement (NDA) in accordance with Italian data protection regulations (GDPR – Regolamento UE 2016/679) and the Italian Privacy Code (D.Lgs. 196/2003 as amended by D.Lgs. 101/2018).

The Laboratory Technician shall commence duties no later than 1 August 2025 at the Italy Naples facility. The initial contract period is twelve (12) months, renewable by mutual written agreement. The Laboratory Technician shall work a standard schedule of Monday through Friday, 08:00–17:00, with a one-hour unpaid lunch break, in accordance with Italian labor regulations.
