This Purchase Order is issued by Auckland Regional Health Laboratories Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as the "Purchaser") to Meridian Scientific Staffing Solutions Ltd. The Supplier shall recruit, vet, and deploy a fully certified Laboratory Technician who meets all competency standards established by the New Zealand Qualifications Authority (NZQA) and the relevant professional bodies operating within the Auckland region.
The Laboratory Technician engaged under this Purchase Order shall be responsible for the day-to-day operation of clinical and environmental sample analysis, maintenance of laboratory instrumentation, preparation of reagents and calibration solutions, documentation of experimental results in accordance with ISO 17025:2017 standards, and adherence to all occupational health and safety protocols mandated by WorkSafe New Zealand. The role is to be performed exclusively within the geographic boundaries of the Auckland metropolitan area, New Zealand, unless otherwise agreed in writing by both parties.

- Governing Law: This Purchase Order shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of New Zealand, specifically the Auckland region of the North Island. Any disputes arising from this Purchase Order relating to the Laboratory Technician engagement shall be resolved through the Disputes Tribunal or the District Court of Auckland, New Zealand.
- Payment Terms: The Purchaser shall remit payment within thirty (30) calendar days of receipt of a valid tax invoice from the Supplier. All payments shall be made in New Zealand Dollars (NZD) via electronic funds transfer to the Supplier's nominated bank account in New Zealand Auckland.
- Performance Standards: The Laboratory Technician shall maintain a minimum competency score of 90% on quarterly performance assessments conducted by the Purchaser's Laboratory Manager. Failure to meet this standard for two consecutive quarters shall constitute grounds for termination of this Purchase Order with fourteen (14) days' written notice.
- Confidentiality: The Laboratory Technician shall be bound by a Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) in compliance with the New Zealand Privacy Act 2020. All patient data, proprietary research, and operational information encountered during the course of duties in the Auckland facility shall remain strictly confidential.
- Compliance: The Supplier warrants that the Laboratory Technician holds a valid New Zealand working visa or residency permit, possesses a current NZQA Level 5 Certificate in Laboratory Technology (or equivalent), and has no disqualifying criminal record as verified through a New Zealand Police Certificate.
- Health and Safety: All work performed by the Laboratory Technician shall comply with the Health and Safety at Work Act 2015 (New Zealand) and all applicable Auckland Council by-laws pertaining to laboratory operations, chemical storage, and waste disposal.
- Termination: Either party may terminate this Purchase Order with thirty (30) days' written notice. In the event of material breach, the non-breaching party may terminate immediately upon written notice. Termination shall not affect any accrued payment obligations for services rendered by the Laboratory Technician up to the date of termination.
- Force Majeure: Neither party shall be liable for failure to perform obligations under this Purchase Order if such failure results from events beyond reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters affecting the New Zealand Auckland region, government-mandated closures, or pandemics.
