This Purchase Order is issued by Islamabad Medical Research & Diagnostics Center (IMRDC) for the engagement of a qualified Laboratory Technician to provide specialized clinical laboratory services at the IMRDC facility located in Pakistan Islamabad. The Laboratory Technician shall be responsible for performing, supervising, and ensuring the accuracy of all diagnostic laboratory tests conducted at the center, including but not limited to hematology, biochemistry, microbiology, serology, and urinalysis procedures.
The scope of this Purchase Order encompasses the provision of professional Laboratory Technician services on a full-time contractual basis for a period of twelve (12) months, commencing from the date of acceptance of this Purchase Order. The Laboratory Technician shall report directly to the Head of the Laboratory Department and shall adhere to all standard operating procedures, quality assurance protocols, and regulatory guidelines established by the Pakistan Medical & Dental Council (PMDC) and the Pakistan National Regulatory Authority for Medical Devices (PNDMA).

4.1 – This Purchase Order shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, specifically the Pakistan Contract Act, 1872, and applicable labor regulations of the Pakistan Islamabad Capital Territory.
4.2 – The Laboratory Technician shall maintain a valid license and registration with the Pakistan Medical & Dental Council (PMDC) throughout the duration of this Purchase Order. Any lapse in licensure shall constitute grounds for immediate termination of this Purchase Order.
4.3 – Payment shall be made on a monthly basis within fifteen (15) calendar days of the end of each month, via bank transfer to the account designated by the Laboratory Technician. All payments are subject to applicable withholding tax as per the Income Tax Ordinance, 2001, of Pakistan.
4.4 – The Laboratory Technician shall work standard hours of 08:00 to 17:00, Monday through Saturday, at the IMRDC facility in Pakistan Islamabad. Overtime and emergency call duties shall be compensated as outlined in Item 05 of this Purchase Order.
4.5 – The Laboratory Technician shall comply with all biosafety, infection control, and waste disposal protocols as mandated by the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) of Pakistan Islamabad and the WHO guidelines for clinical laboratory safety.
4.6 – Either party may terminate this Purchase Order with thirty (30) days written notice. In the event of termination for cause, no such notice period shall apply, and the terminating party shall bear no further financial obligation beyond the date of termination.
4.7 – All patient data, test results, and proprietary laboratory methodologies accessed by the Laboratory Technician in the course of this Purchase Order shall remain the confidential property of IMRDC. The Laboratory Technician shall sign a separate Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) prior to commencing duties.
4.8 – Disputes arising from this Purchase Order shall be resolved through arbitration in Pakistan Islamabad in accordance with the Arbitration Act, 1940 of Pakistan. The seat of arbitration shall be Islamabad, Pakistan Islamabad.
This Purchase Order becomes effective upon signature by both parties. The Laboratory Technician acknowledges receipt of this Purchase Order and agrees to all terms, conditions, and scope of work described herein. By signing below, the Laboratory Technician confirms that they possess all necessary qualifications, certifications, and legal authority to perform the services outlined in this Purchase Order within the jurisdiction of Pakistan Islamabad.
