The Laboratory Technician must hold a minimum qualification of a Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology (DMLT) or a Bachelor of Science in Medical Laboratory Technology (BS-MLT) from a university recognized by the Higher Education Commission (HEC) of Pakistan, and must possess a valid registration with the Pakistan Medical & Dental Council (PMDC) or the relevant provincial health authority in Sindh.

• Place of Performance: All services under this Purchase Order shall be rendered exclusively at the KMDRL diagnostic facility located in Clifton, Pakistan Karachi, Sindh Province. The Laboratory Technician is required to report to the designated laboratory floor no later than 07:45 AM on all working days (Monday through Saturday).
• Payment Terms: The total Purchase Order value of PKR 800,000.00 shall be disbursed in the following schedule: 25% advance upon signed acceptance of this Purchase Order, 50% upon successful onboarding and commencement of duties by the Laboratory Technician, and the remaining 25% upon completion of the twelve-month engagement period, subject to satisfactory performance evaluation.
• Compliance with Local Law: The Supplier (SMSRS) warrants that the Laboratory Technician engaged under this Purchase Order shall be in full compliance with all applicable labor laws of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, the Sindh Labor Welfare Ordinance, and the regulations of the Karachi Metropolitan Corporation (KMC) regarding employment in the healthcare sector.
• Confidentiality: The Laboratory Technician shall be bound by a strict non-disclosure agreement (NDA) covering all patient data, proprietary diagnostic methodologies, and internal operational procedures of KMDRL. Breach of confidentiality shall result in immediate termination and legal action under the Pakistan Information Technology Act, 2002.
• Quality Assurance: The Laboratory Technician must adhere to ISO 15189:2022 standards for medical laboratories. Monthly quality control reports shall be submitted to the Chief Operations Officer of KMDRL. Failure to meet quality benchmarks for two consecutive months shall constitute grounds for termination of this Purchase Order without penalty to the Buyer.
• Termination: Either party may terminate this Purchase Order with thirty (30) days' written notice. In the event of termination by the Buyer for cause, no further payment shall be due beyond the month in which termination takes effect.
• Governing Law and Jurisdiction: This Purchase Order shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan. Any disputes arising from this Purchase Order shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in Pakistan Karachi, Sindh.
• Taxation: All amounts stated in this Purchase Order are inclusive of applicable Sales Tax (17%) and Withholding Tax as per the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) regulations of Pakistan. The Supplier shall provide a valid Sales Tax Invoice (STI) with each payment request.
