This Purchase Order is issued for the engagement of a qualified Laboratory Technician to provide full-time technical support services at the Singapore laboratory facility. The Laboratory Technician shall be responsible for the day-to-day operation of analytical instruments, preparation of reagents and samples, execution of quality control protocols, maintenance of laboratory records in compliance with Singapore Standards (SS) and the Health Sciences Authority (HSA) guidelines, and adherence to all biosafety and environmental regulations applicable in Singapore.

This Purchase Order constitutes a binding agreement between Meridian Diagnostics & Research Pte. Ltd. (hereinafter "the Buyer") and Apex Scientific Talent Solutions Pte. Ltd. (hereinafter "the Supplier") for the provision of a Laboratory Technician in Singapore.
The Laboratory Technician engaged under this Purchase Order must hold a minimum qualification of a Diploma in Laboratory Technology or equivalent, as recognised by the Singapore Qualifications Framework (SQF), and must possess valid work authorization in Singapore (Singapore Citizen, Permanent Resident, or valid Employment Pass / S Pass).
The Supplier shall ensure that the Laboratory Technician is fully indemnified and that all statutory obligations under the Employment Act of Singapore, including CPF contributions, annual leave, medical leave, and public holiday entitlements, are met in full.
All work performed by the Laboratory Technician shall be conducted in strict compliance with the Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) Act of Singapore, the Environmental Protection and Management Act, and all relevant HSA and SS standards applicable to laboratory operations in Singapore.
The Buyer reserves the right to terminate this Purchase Order with 30 days' written notice in the event of unsatisfactory performance, breach of confidentiality, or non-compliance with laboratory safety protocols by the Laboratory Technician.
Payment shall be made via bank transfer to the Supplier's designated account in Singapore within 30 calendar days of receipt of a valid tax invoice. Late payments shall attract interest at the rate of 3% per annum as stipulated under the Late Payment of Interest on Business Debts Act of Singapore.
All intellectual property, data, and research findings generated by the Laboratory Technician during the course of engagement shall remain the exclusive property of the Buyer. The Laboratory Technician shall sign a Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) prior to commencing duties in Singapore.
Any disputes arising from this Purchase Order shall be resolved through mediation in Singapore, and failing that, through the Singapore International Arbitration Centre (SIAC) in accordance with its rules of arbitration.
This Purchase Order is governed by and shall be construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Singapore. The courts of Singapore shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any matters not referred to arbitration.
The Supplier warrants that the Laboratory Technician shall not be engaged in any competing laboratory or diagnostic services in Singapore during the term of this Purchase Order and for a period of six (6) months thereafter.

This Purchase Order is issued and authorised by the undersigned on behalf of the Buyer. The Supplier is requested to confirm acceptance of all terms and conditions by signing below and returning a copy of this Purchase Order within five (5) business days of receipt.
