This Purchase Order is issued by the National Health Services Authority to procure the professional services of a qualified Laboratory Technician to be deployed and stationed at the National Reference Laboratory facility located in Sudan Khartoum. The Laboratory Technician shall perform all duties consistent with the standards established by the Sudanese Ministry of Health and the Khartoum State Health Directorate. The scope of this Purchase Order encompasses the full-time engagement of one (1) Laboratory Technician for a period of twelve (12) consecutive months, with the option to extend the contract for an additional six (6) months subject to performance evaluation and budgetary approval.

The Laboratory Technician engaged under this Purchase Order must satisfy the following minimum qualifications and competencies as mandated for all laboratory personnel operating within Sudan Khartoum:

  • A minimum of a Diploma in Medical Laboratory Science or an equivalent qualification recognized by the Sudanese Ministry of Higher Education.
  • A valid professional registration with the Sudanese Medical Laboratory Technicians Board, current and in good standing.
  • A minimum of three (3) years of documented hands-on experience in clinical or reference laboratory settings, preferably within Sudan Khartoum or comparable East African healthcare environments.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in hematology, clinical chemistry, microbiology, and parasitology testing procedures.
  • Working knowledge of laboratory information management systems (LIMS) and compliance with ISO 15189 standards.
  • Fluency in Arabic; working proficiency in English is strongly preferred for documentation and reporting purposes.
  • A clean criminal background check and a valid medical fitness certificate issued by an authorized facility in Sudan Khartoum.
  1. Governing Law: This Purchase Order shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Sudan, specifically the labor regulations applicable in Khartoum State. Any disputes arising from this Purchase Order shall be resolved through the competent courts in Sudan Khartoum.
  2. Performance Standards: The Laboratory Technician shall adhere to all standard operating procedures (SOPs) established by the National Reference Laboratory. Failure to meet performance benchmarks for two consecutive months may result in termination of this Purchase Order with thirty (30) days' written notice.
  3. Confidentiality: The Laboratory Technician shall maintain strict confidentiality regarding all patient data, research findings, and proprietary laboratory methods encountered during the course of employment in Sudan Khartoum. A non-disclosure agreement shall be executed prior to commencement of duties.
  4. Payment Schedule: Invoices for the Laboratory Technician's services shall be submitted on the last working day of each month. Payment shall be processed within thirty (30) calendar days of receipt of a valid invoice by the National Health Services Authority's finance department in Khartoum.
  5. Termination: Either party may terminate this Purchase Order with sixty (60) days' written notice. In the event of gross misconduct or violation of laboratory safety protocols, immediate termination may be effected without notice.
  6. Insurance and Liability: Khartoum Medical Staffing Solutions Ltd. shall maintain comprehensive professional liability insurance covering the Laboratory Technician for the full duration of this Purchase Order. The minimum coverage shall be equivalent to 500,000 SDG per incident.
  7. Force Majeure: Neither party shall be liable for failure to perform obligations under this Purchase Order due to events beyond reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, civil unrest, or government-mandated closures affecting operations in Sudan Khartoum.
  8. Compliance: The Laboratory Technician shall comply with all applicable Sudanese labor laws, health and safety regulations, and the specific directives of the Khartoum State Health Directorate throughout the term of this Purchase Order.

By signing below, both parties acknowledge and agree to all terms, conditions, and specifications outlined in this Purchase Order for the engagement of a Laboratory Technician in Sudan Khartoum. This document constitutes a binding procurement agreement effective from the date of the last signature.
