This Purchase Order is issued by Meridian Diagnostics & Research Laboratories Ltd. for the procurement of qualified Laboratory Technician professional services to be delivered at our principal facility located in United Kingdom London. The Laboratory Technician shall be responsible for the operation, maintenance, and quality assurance of analytical instruments, the preparation of chemical reagents and biological samples, the execution of routine diagnostic assays, and the documentation of all experimental results in accordance with ISO 15189:2022 standards and the UK Health and Safety Executive (HSE) regulatory framework. The Laboratory Technician must hold a minimum of a BSc (Hons) in Laboratory Science, Biomedical Science, or an equivalent qualification recognised by the Royal Society of Biology, and must possess a valid UK right-to-work permit. All services shall be rendered at the buyer's premises in Westminster, London, United Kingdom, during standard business hours (08:00–17:00, Monday to Friday), with an optional on-call availability for emergency sample processing.

The Laboratory Technician shall commence duties no later than 01 September 2025 at the buyer's laboratory facility in Westminster, London, United Kingdom. The supplier shall ensure that all pre-employment checks, including enhanced DBS clearance, professional indemnity insurance verification, and occupational health clearance, are completed no later than 14 days prior to the commencement date. The supplier is responsible for the induction and orientation of the Laboratory Technician within the first five working days of the contract period.
6. Terms and Conditions- This Purchase Order is governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from this Purchase Order shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of London, United Kingdom.
- The supplier warrants that the Laboratory Technician engaged under this Purchase Order shall be fully qualified, insured, and compliant with all applicable UK employment legislation, including the Equality Act 2010, the Working Time Regulations 1998, and the Health and Safety at Work etc. Act 1974.
- Payment shall be made via BACS transfer within thirty (30) calendar days of receipt of a valid tax invoice from the supplier. Late payments shall accrue interest at the rate of 4% above the Bank of England base rate, in accordance with the Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998.
- The supplier shall maintain professional indemnity insurance of no less than £5,000,000 and public liability insurance of no less than £10,000,000 for the duration of this Purchase Order.
- The Laboratory Technician shall be bound by the buyer's confidentiality and data protection policies in full compliance with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018.
- Either party may terminate this Purchase Order with thirty (30) days' written notice. In the event of termination, the supplier shall provide a replacement Laboratory Technician of equivalent qualification and experience within fourteen (14) working days.
- All intellectual property, research data, and proprietary methodologies developed or accessed by the Laboratory Technician during the term of this Purchase Order shall remain the sole property of Meridian Diagnostics & Research Laboratories Ltd.
- The supplier shall comply with all environmental, health, and safety regulations applicable to laboratory operations in the United Kingdom, including those enforced by the HSE and the Environment Agency.
- This Purchase Order supersedes all prior quotations, correspondence, and agreements between the parties relating to the procurement of Laboratory Technician services in London, United Kingdom.
