The position is to be filled on a full-time basis, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM Pacific Time, with occasional overtime as required by the operational schedule of the Laboratory Technician unit.

- This Purchase Order constitutes a binding agreement between the Purchasing Entity and the Vendor upon signature by both parties. All services described herein shall be rendered in accordance with the laws of the State of California and the municipal ordinances of the City of Los Angeles, United States.
- The Laboratory Technician engaged under this Purchase Order shall be subject to a comprehensive background check, drug screening, and verification of all professional credentials prior to commencing duties at the Los Angeles facility. The Vendor shall bear all costs associated with pre-employment screening.
- Payment terms: Net 30 days from the date of invoice receipt. Invoices shall be submitted to the Accounts Payable department at Pacific Coast Diagnostics & Research Institute, 4520 Wilshire Boulevard, Suite 800, Los Angeles, CA 90010. Late payments shall accrue interest at a rate of 1.5% per month as permitted under California Commercial Code Section 2910.13.
- The Laboratory Technician shall comply with all applicable federal, state, and local regulations, including but not limited to the California Labor Code, the Los Angeles Municipal Code Title 4 (Labor and Employment), OSHA 29 CFR 1910, and the California Department of Public Health Laboratory Regulations (Title 16, CCR Section 1200 et seq.).
- The Vendor shall maintain general liability insurance of no less than $2,000,000 per occurrence and workers' compensation insurance as required by California law for the duration of this Purchase Order. Certificates of insurance shall be provided to the Purchasing Entity prior to the start date.
- This Purchase Order may be terminated by either party with thirty (30) days' written notice. In the event of termination, the Vendor shall be compensated for all services rendered through the effective date of termination, less any applicable deductions.
- All disputes arising from this Purchase Order shall be resolved through binding arbitration in Los Angeles, California, in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association. The prevailing party shall be entitled to recover reasonable attorney's fees and costs.
- The Laboratory Technician shall be required to complete a minimum of 40 hours of on-site orientation and safety training at the Los Angeles laboratory facility before independently performing any analytical procedures. This training shall be conducted under the direct supervision of the Laboratory Operations Director.
- This Purchase Order is governed by and shall be construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California. The venue for any legal proceedings shall be the Superior Court of California, County of Los Angeles.
- Any modifications or amendments to this Purchase Order must be made in writing and signed by authorized representatives of both parties. No oral agreements shall alter the terms set forth in this document.
All services under this Purchase Order shall be performed at the following location: Pacific Coast Diagnostics & Research Institute, 4520 Wilshire Boulevard, Suite 800, Los Angeles, California 90010, United States. The Laboratory Technician shall report to the Laboratory Operations Director on the first business day following the effective date of this Purchase Order. The work location is within the jurisdiction of the City of Los Angeles, and all applicable local labor ordinances, including the Los Angeles Fair Chance Initiative for Hiring (FCIH) and the Los Angeles Minimum Wage Ordinance, shall be observed.
