This Purchase Order is issued by Al-Madina Industrial Enterprises (Pvt.) 2.1 — Payment shall be made in Pakistani Rupees (PKR) via bank transfer to the account of Siddiqui & Associates Legal Chambers, Meezan Bank, Clifton Branch, Karachi, Account No. 0045-8821-3367-001.
2.2 — A 30% advance payment (PKR 447,000) shall be due within seven (7) business days of the acceptance of this Purchase Order by the Lawyer.
2.3 — The remaining 70% shall be payable in two equal installments: 50% upon completion of Item #01 and Item #04, and the final 50% upon satisfactory completion of all remaining items or upon the expiry of the retainer period, whichever is earlier.
2.4 — All court fees, stamp duties, registration charges, and out-of-pocket expenses incurred in Pakistan Karachi shall be borne by the Purchasing Party and are excluded from the rates stated above. The Lawyer shall submit itemized receipts for reimbursement within ten (10) days of incurring such expenses.
2.5 — Late payments shall attract interest at the rate of 1.5% per month, calculated from the due date, in accordance with prevailing commercial practice in Pakistan Karachi.
3.1 — The Lawyer and her firm shall maintain strict confidentiality regarding all documents, trade secrets, and business information of Al-Madina Industrial Enterprises (Pvt.) Ltd. This obligation shall survive the termination of this Purchase Order for a period of five (5) years.
3.2 — The Lawyer shall not represent any party in a matter directly adverse to the Purchasing Party without prior written consent, in compliance with the Code of Conduct for Advocates, 2001, as enforced by the Sindh Bar Council.
3.3 — All legal opinions, drafts, and written work product delivered under this Purchase Order shall be the intellectual property of the Purchasing Party upon full payment.
3.4 — The Lawyer shall provide a written status report to the Purchasing Party on the 1st and 15th of every month during the engagement period, detailing progress on all active matters in Pakistan Karachi.
3.5 — Either party may terminate this Purchase Order with thirty (30) days' written notice. Upon termination, the Lawyer shall be compensated for all services rendered up to the effective date of termination, and all pending court matters shall be handed over with complete case files.
3.6 — This Purchase Order shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan. Any disputes arising herefrom shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Pakistan Karachi, Sindh.
3.7 — The Lawyer warrants that she is duly enrolled with the Sindh Bar Council and holds a valid practicing certificate for the current year. Any suspension or disbarment shall constitute immediate grounds for termination by the Purchasing Party.
By signing below, both parties acknowledge and agree to all terms, conditions, and service descriptions outlined in this Purchase Order. This document constitutes a binding agreement for the engagement of legal services in Pakistan Karachi and supersedes all prior communications, quotations, or understandings between the parties regarding the matters described herein.
