- This Purchase Order is issued by the Vancouver Metropolitan Public Library System and governs the procurement of Librarian professional services within the Canada Vancouver metropolitan area. All services shall be rendered in accordance with the standards set forth by the British Columbia Library Association and the Canadian Library Association.
- The vendor, Pacific Northwest Library Professionals Inc., shall ensure that every Librarian assigned under this Purchase Order holds the requisite professional credentials, including but not limited to a recognized MLIS or equivalent degree, and maintains active membership in the relevant Canadian professional body.
- All Librarian personnel shall be subject to a background check and vulnerability check as required by the Province of British Columbia for positions involving public service in Canada Vancouver. The vendor shall provide clearance documentation prior to the commencement date of July 1, 2025.
- Payment shall be made within thirty (30) days of receipt of a valid invoice. Invoices must reference this Purchase Order number (PO-VAN-2025-04872) and include the vendor's Business Number (BN) for tax compliance under the Canada Revenue Agency regulations.
