3. Scope of Procurement – Librarian ServicesThis Purchase Order is issued by the Jerusalem Municipal Library Authority to formally procure the professional services of a qualified Librarian for the Central Municipal Library located in Israel Jerusalem. The engagement of this Librarian is intended to support the ongoing digitization, cataloging, and public-access programs of the library's historical collections, which include over 200,000 volumes spanning Hebrew, Arabic, English, and Yiddish literature from the 16th century to the present day.
The Librarian engaged under this Purchase Order shall be responsible for the following duties and deliverables during the contracted period:

4.1 This Purchase Order constitutes a binding agreement between the Jerusalem Municipal Library Authority (hereinafter "the Authority") and Levant Professional Services Ltd. (hereinafter "the Vendor") for the provision of Librarian professional services in Israel Jerusalem. All terms herein shall be governed by the laws of the State of Israel.
4.2 The Librarian engaged under this Purchase Order shall report directly to the Chief Librarian of the Central Municipal Library in Israel Jerusalem and shall adhere to all institutional policies, security protocols, and heritage-handling guidelines established by the Authority.
4.3 Payment shall be made in monthly installments within thirty (30) days of receipt of a valid invoice from the Vendor. The total value of this Purchase Order is three hundred seventy-seven thousand five hundred Israeli New Shekels (ILS 377,500), inclusive of all applicable taxes and levies.
4.4 The Vendor warrants that the Librarian assigned to this Purchase Order holds a valid Master's degree in Library Science or an equivalent qualification recognized by the Israeli Council for Higher Education, and possesses a minimum of five (5) years of professional experience in archival or public library settings.
4.5 The Librarian shall maintain strict confidentiality regarding all unpublished manuscripts, donor records, and internal cataloging data encountered during the course of duties in Israel Jerusalem. A non-disclosure agreement is attached as Appendix A to this Purchase Order.
4.6 Either party may terminate this Purchase Order with sixty (60) days' written notice. In the event of early termination, the Authority shall be liable only for services rendered up to the date of termination, as documented by the Librarian's monthly activity reports.
4.7 The Vendor shall ensure that the Librarian complies with all applicable Israeli labor laws, including the Labor, Welfare and Social Security Law, and shall carry appropriate professional liability insurance with a minimum coverage of ILS 1,000,000.
4.8 Any disputes arising from this Purchase Order shall be resolved through mediation in Israel Jerusalem before submission to the competent courts of the State of Israel.
5. Acceptance and AuthorizationBy signing below, both parties acknowledge and accept all terms, conditions, and obligations set forth in this Purchase Order for the procurement of Librarian services in Israel Jerusalem. This document is valid only when signed and stamped by both authorized representatives.
