Terms and Conditions of this Purchase Order
- This Purchase Order constitutes a binding agreement between the Buyer and the Supplier for the provision of Librarian professional services to be rendered in Mexico Mexico City, effective from the Required Start Date indicated above.
- The Librarian engaged under this Purchase Order shall comply with all applicable federal and local regulations of Mexico Mexico City, including but not limited to the Ley Federal del Trabajo, the Ley de Bibliotecas, and the municipal ordinances governing public library operations in the Ciudad de México.
- Payment shall be processed via electronic transfer (SPEI) to the bank account specified above within thirty (30) calendar days of receipt of a valid invoice. Late payments shall accrue interest at the rate established by the Banco de México.
- The Supplier guarantees that the Librarian candidate meets all academic qualifications, including a minimum of a Licenciatura en Bibliotecología or equivalent degree from a recognized institution in Mexico Mexico City or elsewhere in Mexico, and a minimum of five (5) years of professional experience in library science.
- Either party may terminate this Purchase Order with thirty (30) days’ written notice. In the event of termination, the Supplier shall ensure a smooth transition of all Librarian duties, including transfer of catalog records, reference databases, and ongoing project documentation.
- All intellectual property, catalog entries, and digital content created by the Librarian during the term of this Purchase Order shall remain the exclusive property of the Buyer, located in Mexico Mexico City.
- This Purchase Order is governed by the laws of the United Mexican States and the local regulations of Mexico Mexico City. Any disputes arising from this document shall be resolved in the competent courts of Mexico Mexico City.
- The Supplier shall maintain professional liability insurance with a minimum coverage of MXN 1,000,000 for the duration of the Librarian engagement under this Purchase Order.
- Confidentiality: The Librarian shall adhere to strict confidentiality protocols regarding patron records, institutional data, and proprietary collection information in accordance with the Ley Federal de Protección de Datos Personales en Posesión de los Particulares.
- This Purchase Order may be amended only by mutual written agreement of both parties. No verbal modifications to the scope, compensation, or terms of the Librarian engagement shall be valid.
