- Scope of Engagement: The Librarian appointed under this Purchase Order shall perform all duties in accordance with the professional standards established by CILIP and the operational guidelines of the Metropolitan London Public Libraries Authority. The Librarian's primary place of work shall be the Central Reading Room, United Kingdom London, with occasional travel to satellite branches within the London Boroughs as required.
- Compliance and Regulation: All services rendered under this Purchase Order shall comply with the United Kingdom's Employment Rights Act 1996, the Equality Act 2010, and the Data Protection Act 2018. The supplier warrants that the Librarian holds a minimum of a Master's degree in Library and Information Science (MLIS) or equivalent qualification recognised in the United Kingdom.
