The Librarian services shall commence no later than 1 August 2025. The supplier is required to deliver the fully vetted, qualified Librarian candidate(s) to the Tashkent Central Public Library premises at 12 Amir Temur Avenue, Tashkent, Uzbekistan, for an initial orientation and workstation setup. All onboarding documentation, including work permits valid in the Republic of Uzbekistan, must be completed prior to the commencement date. The supplier shall ensure that the Librarian meets all professional standards set forth by the Ministry of Culture of Uzbekistan and the International Federation of Library Associations (IFLA) guidelines applicable to the Tashkent region.
- Payment shall be made in Uzbek Som (UZS) via bank transfer to the supplier's designated account in Tashkent, Uzbekistan.
- 40% of the total Purchase Order value shall be due upon successful onboarding and first working day of the Librarian.
- 30% shall be due at the midpoint of the contract period (1 January 2026).
- 30% shall be due upon successful completion of the annual performance review of the Librarian.
- All payments are subject to a 30-day net payment cycle from the date of invoice receipt.
- Late payments shall incur a penalty of 0.5% per calendar day in accordance with the Commercial Code of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
- This Purchase Order is governed by the laws of the Republic of Uzbekistan. Any disputes arising from this Purchase Order shall be resolved through the Tashkent City Arbitration Court.
- The supplier warrants that the Librarian candidate(s) possess all necessary qualifications, professional certifications, and legal work authorization to perform librarian duties within Uzbekistan.
- The Librarian shall adhere to the code of conduct, confidentiality agreements, and intellectual property policies of the Tashkent Central Public Library.
- The supplier shall provide a replacement Librarian within 14 business days should the initially placed candidate be unable to continue service for any reason.
- This Purchase Order may be amended only by mutual written agreement signed by authorized representatives of both parties in Tashkent, Uzbekistan.
- All data processed by the Librarian in the course of duties shall comply with the Law of the Republic of Uzbekistan on Personal Data Protection.
- The supplier shall maintain professional liability insurance with a minimum coverage of 500,000,000 UZS for the duration of the contract.
