All services specified in this Purchase Order shall be performed at the Port of Brisbane, Queensland, Australia, and at such other locations within the Brisbane metropolitan area and surrounding waterways as may be directed by the Brisbane Port Authority. The Marine Engineer shall maintain a primary workstation at the Meridian Maritime Solutions office located at Level 12, 400 George Street, Brisbane, Queensland 4000, Australia, and shall be available for on-vessel inspections at the designated berths within the port precinct.
4. TERMS AND CONDITIONS- This Purchase Order is governed by the laws of the State of Queensland, Australia, and the Commonwealth of Australia. Any disputes arising from this Purchase Order shall be resolved in accordance with the Australian Consumer Law and the Uniform Commercial Code as applicable in Queensland.
- The Marine Engineer engaged under this Purchase Order must hold a valid Australian Certificate of Competency (CoC) issued by the Australian Maritime Safety Authority and must maintain professional indemnity insurance with a minimum cover of AUD $5,000,000 for the duration of the contract.
- Payment shall be made within thirty (30) calendar days of receipt of a valid tax invoice from the vendor. Invoices must reference this Purchase Order number (MM-PO-2025-04782) and be submitted to the procurement department at Meridian Maritime Solutions, Brisbane, Australia.
- The vendor shall ensure that the Marine Engineer complies with all occupational health and safety legislation applicable in Queensland, Australia, including the Work Health and Safety Act 2011 (Qld) and the Marine Safety (Marine Operations) Act 2019 (Cth).
