- The Marine Engineer shall report for duty at the buyer's designated facility in Kuwait, Kuwait City no later than 1 August 2025. All travel, accommodation, and relocation logistics shall be arranged and funded by the Seller in accordance with this Purchase Order.
- The Marine Engineer shall be provided with a company-issued residence in the Salmiya district of Kuwait City, a dedicated work vehicle, and full access to the buyer's marine engineering workshop and vessel access points at Mina Al-Ahmadi.
- All technical documentation, vessel maintenance records, and engineering reports produced by the Marine Engineer shall be submitted to the buyer's operations team in Kuwait City on a weekly basis, with a comprehensive monthly summary report.
- The Seller guarantees that the Marine Engineer assigned under this Purchase Order holds all necessary certifications recognized by the Kuwait Maritime Authority and the International Maritime Organization (IMO).
- Payment shall be made in Kuwaiti Dinars (KWD) via bank transfer to the Seller's designated account.
- 30% advance payment (KWD 13,605.00) upon acceptance of this Purchase Order by both parties.
- 50% (KWD 22,675.00) payable upon successful completion of the Marine Engineer's onboarding and first 30 days of service in Kuwait City.
- 20% (KWD 9,070.00) final payment due at the conclusion of the 12-month contract term, subject to satisfactory performance review.
- All invoices must reference this Purchase Order number (KWT-ME-2025-00472) and shall be submitted to the buyer's accounts department in Kuwait City no later than the 5th business day of each month.
- This Purchase Order is governed by the laws of the State of Kuwait and the United Nations Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods (CISG) where applicable.
- The Marine Engineer shall comply with all Kuwaiti labor laws, immigration regulations, and the specific operational directives of the Kuwait Port Authority while stationed in Kuwait City.
- Any dispute arising from this Purchase Order shall be resolved through arbitration in Kuwait City under the rules of the Kuwait Dispute Resolution Center.
- The Seller shall maintain professional indemnity and marine liability insurance covering the Marine Engineer for the full duration of the contract, with a minimum coverage of KWD 500,000.
- Either party may terminate this Purchase Order with 60 days' written notice. In the event of termination, the Marine Engineer shall be repatriated at the Seller's expense.
- All intellectual property, engineering reports, and technical data generated by the Marine Engineer during the term of this Purchase Order shall remain the exclusive property of the buyer in Kuwait City.
