This Purchase Order is issued by Atlantic Maritime Services (Pty) Ltd for the engagement of a qualified Marine Engineer to provide comprehensive technical services at the buyer's operational facilities located in South Africa Cape Town. The Marine Engineer must hold a valid Class 1 Marine Engineer's Certificate of Competency issued by the South African Maritime Safety Authority (SAMSA) and must possess a minimum of eight (8) years of documented experience in commercial marine engineering. The Marine Engineer shall report directly to the Chief Engineer of the vessel and shall comply with all International Maritime Organization (IMO) regulations, South African maritime legislation, and the specific operational protocols of the buyer's fleet.

  1. Acceptance: This Purchase Order constitutes a binding offer. The Supplier, ProMarine Engineering Solutions (Pty) Ltd, must confirm acceptance in writing within five (5) business days of receipt. Failure to respond within this period shall render this Purchase Order null and void.
  2. Commencement: The Marine Engineer shall commence duties no later than 01 July 2025 at the buyer's designated berth in South Africa Cape Town. Any delay in commencement must be communicated in writing at least 48 hours in advance.
  3. Qualification Verification: Prior to commencement, the Supplier must submit certified copies of the Marine Engineer's SAMSA Class 1 Certificate of Competency, medical fitness certificate, and criminal clearance certificate for verification by the buyer's Human Resources department in South Africa Cape Town.
  4. Payment Terms: Payment shall be made within thirty (30) days of receipt of a valid tax invoice. Invoices must reference this Purchase Order number (SA-CT-2025-ME-0472) and be submitted to the buyer's accounts payable department in South Africa Cape Town.
