1. Validity: This Purchase Order shall remain valid for acceptance within fourteen (14) calendar days from the date of issue. Failure to confirm acceptance within this period shall render this Purchase Order null and void.
2. Commencement: The Marine Engineer services shall commence on 1 July 2025 and shall continue for a period of twelve (12) months, subject to satisfactory performance reviews conducted quarterly.
3. Location of Service: All services under this Purchase Order shall be performed at the Port of Tanzania facilities, berths, and vessels operating within the jurisdiction of Tanzania Dar es Salaam, unless otherwise agreed in writing by both parties.
4. Payment Terms: Payment shall be made in Tanzanian Shillings (TZS) via bank transfer to the supplier's designated account. Monthly retainer payments are due within thirty (30) days of receipt of a valid invoice. Emergency call-out fees are payable within fourteen (14) days of incident resolution.

6. Insurance: The Marine Engineer and all supporting personnel must maintain comprehensive professional indemnity insurance and marine liability coverage with a minimum sum insured of TZS 500,000,000 throughout the duration of this contract.
7. Compliance: The supplier warrants that the Marine Engineer assigned shall comply with all applicable laws of the United Republic of Tanzania, including the Marine and Ports Authority Act, the Employment and Labour Relations Act, and all environmental regulations governing port operations in Tanzania Dar es Salaam.
