This Purchase Order constitutes a binding agreement between Horizon Retail Group (Pvt) Ltd and Strategic Talent Solutions (Pvt) Ltd for the recruitment, engagement, and onboarding of a Marketing Manager to be stationed at the company's headquarters in Sri Lanka Colombo.
Payment shall be made within thirty (30) days of receipt of a valid tax invoice from the vendor. Payment shall be processed via bank transfer to the account specified in Section 1 of this Purchase Order.
The Marketing Manager shall commence duties no later than 1 August 2025. Failure to secure a qualified candidate by this date shall entitle the Purchaser to cancel this Purchase Order without penalty, subject to a written notice of seven (7) days.
All services rendered under this Purchase Order shall be performed in accordance with the laws of the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka, including but not limited to the Employment Act No. 45 of 2001, the Income Tax Act, and applicable regulations of the Department of Labour in Colombo.
The Marketing Manager shall be required to work from the Sri Lanka Colombo office on a full-time basis, Monday through Friday, 08:30 AM to 05:30 PM, with a one-hour lunch break. Additional travel within the Colombo District and surrounding provinces may be required as part of the role's responsibilities.
The vendor warrants that the Marketing Manager placed under this Purchase Order shall have no undisclosed conflicts of interest, no pending litigation, and shall possess all qualifications and certifications as stated in the job specification attached as Annexure A.
Confidentiality: Both parties agree that all information exchanged in connection with this Purchase Order, including the identity, compensation, and performance data of the Marketing Manager, shall be treated as strictly confidential and shall not be disclosed to any third party without prior written consent.
Termination: Either party may terminate this Purchase Order by providing thirty (30) days' written notice. In the event of termination, the vendor shall be compensated for services rendered up to the effective date of termination.
Dispute Resolution: Any dispute arising out of or in connection with this Purchase Order shall be resolved through mediation in Sri Lanka Colombo in accordance with the rules of the Sri Lanka International Arbitration Centre. If mediation fails, the matter shall be referred to the courts of competent jurisdiction in Colombo, Sri Lanka.
This Purchase Order is governed by and shall be construed in accordance with the laws of Sri Lanka. The venue for all legal proceedings shall be the city of Colombo, Sri Lanka.

Expected Commencement Date: 1 August 2025

Contract Duration: Twelve (12) months, renewable by mutual written agreement

Reporting Line: The Marketing Manager shall report directly to the Chief Marketing Officer and shall coordinate with the Director of Operations, the Head of Digital Transformation, and the Regional Sales Director for the Colombo and Western Province territories.
