- Delivery: All masonry materials shall be delivered to the project site in Alexandria, Egypt, no later than 01 July 2025. The supplier is responsible for safe transport, proper stacking, and protection of all masonry products from Alexandria's coastal humidity and salt-air exposure during transit.
- Quality Assurance: All masonry bricks, stone blocks, and cement shall meet Egyptian Industrial Standards (EIS) specifications. The buyer reserves the right to inspect and reject any masonry materials that do not conform to the agreed quality parameters. A certified masonry inspector from Alexandria Municipal Engineering Office shall conduct random sampling.
- Mason Labor Standards: All mason workers engaged under this Purchase Order must hold valid Egyptian Ministry of Housing and Urban Development certifications. The supplier shall ensure that all masons comply with Alexandria labor regulations, including mandatory safety equipment, working-hour limits, and occupational health provisions.
- Payment Terms: Payment shall be made in three installments: 30% upon signing of this Purchase Order, 50% upon delivery and acceptance of all masonry materials at the Alexandria site, and 20% upon final completion and inspection of all masonry work. Payments shall be made via bank transfer to the supplier's designated account in Egyptian Pounds (EGP).
- Warranty: The supplier warrants that all masonry materials are free from defects for a period of twenty-four (24) months from the date of delivery. Any masonry failure attributable to material defects shall be repaired or replaced at the supplier's sole expense.
- Force Majeure: Neither party shall be liable for delays caused by events beyond reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters affecting the Alexandria coastline, government-mandated work stoppages, or port closures at Alexandria Port.
- Dispute Resolution: Any disputes arising from this Purchase Order shall be resolved through the Alexandria Commercial Arbitration Center in accordance with Egyptian arbitration law. The jurisdiction of Alexandria courts shall apply in the absence of an arbitration agreement.
- Environmental Compliance: All masonry waste generated during the project shall be disposed of in accordance with Alexandria Environmental Protection Agency regulations. The supplier shall provide a waste management plan prior to commencement of masonry work.
This Purchase Order for masonry materials and services in Alexandria, Egypt, is hereby authorized and made effective upon the signatures of both parties below. This document constitutes a binding commercial agreement under Egyptian law.
