PURCHASE ORDER SCOPE – MASON WORKS

This Purchase Order is issued by Al-Madina Construction & Development (Pvt.) Ltd. to engage the above-named Mason contractor for the execution of all masonry, brickwork, plastering, and related civil construction activities at the Islamabad Residential Tower project site located in G-13/4, Pakistan Islamabad. The Mason shall provide all skilled labor, hand tools, and consumable materials as specified below. The scope of work is governed by the project drawings (Rev. 3) and the specifications approved by the Islamabad Capital Territory Building Control Authority.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS
  1. This Purchase Order constitutes a binding agreement between Al-Madina Construction & Development (Pvt.) Ltd. and the named Mason contractor for the masonry works described herein at the project site in Pakistan Islamabad.
  2. The Mason shall mobilize all personnel, materials, and equipment to the G-13/4 site within five (5) working days of the date of this Purchase Order and shall maintain a minimum crew of twelve (12) skilled masons throughout the execution period.
  3. All masonry work shall conform to the Pakistan Building Code (PBC-2018), the specifications of the Islamabad Capital Territory Building Control Authority, and the project structural drawings issued by the lead structural engineer.
  4. The Mason is responsible for ensuring that all bricks, blocks, cement, and aggregate used on site meet the standards prescribed by the Pakistan Standards and Quality Control Authority (PSQCA). Certificates of conformity shall be submitted to the site engineer prior to use.
  5. Payment shall be made in three (3) progress installments: 30% upon completion of basement and ground-floor masonry, 40% upon completion of floors 1 through 5, and 30% upon final completion and acceptance of all masonry works. Each installment is due within thirty (30) days of the site engineer's written certification.
  6. A retention sum of five percent (5%) of each progress payment shall be withheld and released upon expiry of the twelve-month defect liability period, subject to satisfactory rectification of any masonry defects identified during that period.
  7. The Mason shall comply with all labor laws of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, including the minimum wage orders issued by the Islamabad Capital Territory government, and shall provide all workers with personal protective equipment (PPE) as mandated by the Pakistan Occupational Safety and Health (POSHO) regulations.
  8. Any variation in scope, quantity, or specification shall be documented in a written Variation Order signed by both parties before execution. No additional work shall be undertaken under this Purchase Order without prior written approval.
  9. In the event of a dispute, the matter shall be resolved through arbitration in Pakistan Islamabad in accordance with the Arbitration Act, 1940 of Pakistan. The governing law of this Purchase Order shall be the laws of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan.
  10. This Purchase Order is valid for a period of ninety (90) days from the date of issue. If the Mason does not accept and commence work within this period, the Purchase Order shall be deemed void and Al-Madina Construction reserves the right to re-tender the masonry scope.
