Scope of Work – Mason Services

This Purchase Order is issued by Al Noor Construction & Infrastructure W.L.L. to Al Rashid Mason & Blockwork Co. for the provision of all Mason services required for the Marina Heights Residential Tower project located in West Bay, Qatar Doha. The Mason contractor shall be responsible for all blockwork, bricklaying, plastering, screeding, and associated masonry activities as detailed in the line items below. All work shall comply with the Qatar Building Code, QCS (Qatar Construction Specifications), and the project-specific technical specifications approved by the client's consultant.

Terms and Conditions
  1. This Purchase Order constitutes a binding agreement between Al Noor Construction & Infrastructure W.L.L. (the "Employer") and Al Rashid Mason & Blockwork Co. (the "Mason Contractor") for the execution of all masonry works at the project site in Qatar Doha.
  2. The Mason Contractor shall mobilize all personnel, tools, equipment, and materials to the site in Qatar Doha within seven (7) calendar days of the date of this Purchase Order.
  3. All masonry materials (blocks, bricks, cement, sand, reinforcement, DPC, and mortar additives) shall be supplied by the Mason Contractor unless otherwise stated. Materials must meet QCS standards and be approved by the project consultant prior to use.
  4. The Mason Contractor shall provide a minimum of twelve (12) skilled masons, four (4) laborers, and two (2) site supervisors at all times during active masonry operations. All workers must hold valid Qatar work permits and Qatari Civil Defense safety certifications.
  5. Payment shall be made in monthly progress installments based on certified quantities of completed masonry work. Payment terms are thirty (30) days from the date of the certified interim payment certificate. All payments shall be made in Qatari Riyals (QAR) via bank transfer to the account specified by the Mason Contractor.
  6. The Mason Contractor shall provide a twelve (12) month defect liability period from the date of practical completion of all masonry works. During this period, the Mason Contractor shall rectify any defects in masonry workmanship at no additional cost to the Employer.
  7. The Mason Contractor shall maintain comprehensive third-party liability insurance and workers' compensation insurance in accordance with Qatari labor law for the duration of the contract and the defect liability period.
  8. All work shall be executed in strict compliance with the Qatar Building Code, QCS, and the project-specific specifications. The Mason Contractor shall submit a detailed Method Statement and Risk Assessment for all masonry activities prior to commencement.
  9. The Mason Contractor shall comply with all health, safety, and environmental regulations applicable in Qatar Doha, including dust control, noise management, and waste disposal requirements set by the Ministry of Municipality and Environment.
  10. Any variation to the scope of masonry work shall be documented in a written variation order signed by both parties before execution. No additional payment shall be due for work not authorized in writing under this Purchase Order.
  11. This Purchase Order shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Qatar. Any disputes arising from this Purchase Order shall be resolved through arbitration in Qatar Doha in accordance with the Qatar Arbitration Law.
  12. The Mason Contractor shall not subcontract any portion of the masonry works without prior written consent from the Employer. Any approved subcontractor shall be bound by the same terms and conditions as set forth in this Purchase Order.
Acceptance and Authorization

By signing below, both parties acknowledge and agree to all terms, conditions, and obligations set forth in this Purchase Order for Mason services at the project site in Qatar Doha. This document is valid for a period of thirty (30) days from the date of issue.
