- This Purchase Order is issued by BuildCraft Construction Solutions (Pty) Ltd and is binding upon acceptance by the named Mason contractor. All work shall be performed in accordance with the South African National Building Regulations (SANS 10400) and the City of Johannesburg Municipal By-Laws.
- The Mason shall provide all skilled labour, tools, and small equipment necessary to complete the masonry works described herein. All materials listed in this Purchase Order shall be of a quality consistent with SANS standards and shall be delivered to the project site in Fourways, South Africa Johannesburg, no later than 05 July 2025.
- Payment terms: 30% deposit upon signing of this Purchase Order; 40% upon completion of all structural masonry (brick and block walls); 30% upon final handover and sign-off by the client. All payments shall be made via electronic funds transfer (EFT) to the bank account specified above.
- The Mason is required to hold a valid Construction Industry Development Board (CIDB) registration at Grade 4 or above and must present proof of insurance (public liability and workers' compensation) prior to commencing work on site in South Africa Johannesburg.
- All masonry work must be completed within 22 working days from the date of site access. Delays attributable to the Mason shall incur a penalty of R1,500 per working day. Delays caused by force majeure or client-directed changes shall extend the timeline accordingly.
- The Mason shall comply with all Occupational Health and Safety Act (OHSA) requirements, including but not limited to the provision of PPE, safe scaffolding, and proper handling of cement and aggregate on the South Africa Johannesburg site.
- Any variations or additional work beyond the scope of this Purchase Order must be approved in writing by the project manager before execution. No verbal instructions shall be binding.
- Warranty: The Mason guarantees all masonry work for a period of 24 months from the date of final acceptance. Any structural defects, cracking, or pointing failures within this period shall be rectified at no additional cost.
- Governing law: This Purchase Order shall be governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Any disputes shall be resolved through the Johannesburg Magistrate's Court or by arbitration under the rules of the Arbitration Foundation of South Africa (AFSA).
- This Purchase Order is valid for acceptance within 7 calendar days of the issue date. Failure to accept within this period shall render this document null and void.
