1. SCOPE OF WORK AND MATERIALS – MASON SERVICESThis Purchase Order is issued by Colombo Construction & Infrastructure Ltd. to Silva Masonry & Construction Services (Pvt) Ltd. for the provision of professional Mason services, masonry materials, and related construction work to be executed at the Colombo Harbour Residential Complex site located in Sri Lanka Colombo. The Mason contractor shall be responsible for all bricklaying, block masonry, plastering, tiling, and structural masonry work as detailed in the line items below. All work shall comply with the Sri Lanka Standards (SLS) and the Colombo Municipal Council building regulations applicable to Sri Lanka Colombo.

3.1 This Purchase Order is governed by the laws of the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka. Any disputes arising from this Purchase Order shall be resolved through arbitration in Sri Lanka Colombo in accordance with the Sri Lanka Arbitration Act.
3.2 The Mason contractor shall mobilize a minimum of 45 skilled Mason workers, 12 assistants, and 3 site supervisors to the Sri Lanka Colombo project site within 7 calendar days of the date of this Purchase Order.
3.3 All masonry materials supplied under this Purchase Order must meet or exceed Sri Lanka Standards (SLS) specifications. The Mason contractor shall provide mill certificates and batch test reports for all cement, bricks, and blocks delivered to the site.
3.4 The Mason contractor shall adhere to all safety regulations enforced by the Sri Lanka Department of Labour and the Colombo Municipal Council. All Mason workers must wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times on the Sri Lanka Colombo site.
3.5 Payment shall be made in monthly progress instalments based on certified quantities of Mason work completed. Payment terms: 30 days from receipt of a valid tax invoice. A 5% retention shall be held until final completion and handover.
3.6 The Mason contractor warrants all masonry work for a period of 24 months from the date of practical completion. Any defects in Mason work, including cracking, delamination, or bond failure, shall be rectified at the contractor's own cost within 14 days of written notice.
3.7 The project timeline for all Mason work under this Purchase Order is 14 months from the date of commencement. Liquidated damages of LKR 250,000 per calendar day of delay shall apply beyond the agreed completion date.
3.8 The Mason contractor shall maintain comprehensive public liability insurance of not less than LKR 500,000,000 and workers' compensation insurance for all Mason personnel throughout the duration of this Purchase Order.
4. DELIVERY AND SITE LOGISTICSAll masonry materials shall be delivered to the Colombo Harbour Residential Complex site at Colombo 01, Sri Lanka Colombo, in accordance with the delivery schedule agreed upon by the project manager. The Mason contractor is responsible for all transportation, unloading, and on-site storage of materials. Given the coastal location in Sri Lanka Colombo, all cement and moisture-sensitive materials must be stored in covered, elevated storage to prevent degradation from high humidity and salt air exposure.
5. APPROVAL AND AUTHORIZATIONThis Purchase Order is issued and authorized by the undersigned on behalf of Colombo Construction & Infrastructure Ltd. The Mason contractor, Silva Masonry & Construction Services (Pvt) Ltd., acknowledges acceptance of all terms, conditions, and scope of work as outlined in this document. Both parties confirm that this Purchase Order constitutes a binding agreement for the Mason services and materials to be provided at the Sri Lanka Colombo project site.
