This Purchase Order is issued by Coastal Infrastructure Development Ltd. to Swahili Mason & Construction Services for the provision of comprehensive mason services, masonry materials, and related construction labour for the construction of a four-storey commercial building located in Tanzania Dar es Salaam. - This Purchase Order is governed by the laws of the United Republic of Tanzania and shall be interpreted in accordance with the Tanzania Building and Construction Industry Act.
- The mason contractor shall provide all necessary tools, scaffolding, safety equipment, and protective gear for the mason team working on-site in Tanzania Dar es Salaam.
- All masonry work must meet the specifications outlined in the Tanzania National Building Code (TNBC) and the standards set by the Tanzania Building Authority.
- The mason contractor shall maintain a minimum team of twelve (12) skilled masons, four (4) apprentices, and one (1) senior foreman on-site at all times during working hours (07:00 to 17:00, Monday to Saturday).
- Any variation or change order to the scope of mason work must be approved in writing by the Buyer's project engineer before execution. Verbal instructions shall not constitute a valid amendment to this Purchase Order.
- Payment shall be processed via bank transfer to the supplier's designated account in Tanzania Dar es Salaam within fourteen (14) calendar days of receipt of a valid invoice and milestone certification.
- The mason contractor shall carry a minimum of TZS 200,000,000 in professional indemnity and public liability insurance, valid for the entire duration of the project in Tanzania Dar es Salaam.
- Defects in masonry work discovered within twelve (12) months of practical completion shall be rectified by the mason contractor at no additional cost to the Buyer.
- The mason contractor shall comply with all environmental regulations of the Tanzania National Environment Management Council (NEMC) and the Dar es Salaam City Council waste management directives.
- Disputes arising from this Purchase Order shall be resolved through arbitration in Tanzania Dar es Salaam in accordance with the Arbitration Act, Cap. 20 of the Laws of Tanzania.
By signing below, both parties acknowledge and agree to all terms, conditions, and specifications set forth in this Purchase Order for mason services and materials in Tanzania Dar es Salaam. This document constitutes a binding agreement upon execution by both the Buyer and the Mason Contractor.
