This Purchase Order is issued by Meridian Applied Sciences Pty Ltd to engage the services of a qualified Mathematician, Dr. Eleanor V. The Mathematician is engaged to provide expertise in stochastic modelling, numerical optimisation, and applied differential equations as they relate to Meridian Applied Sciences' energy grid forecasting project. The Mathematician shall ensure that all deliverables meet the Australian Standards for mathematical documentation and that all calculations comply with the relevant regulatory frameworks administered by the Australian Energy Market Operator (AEMO) and the Australian Securities and Investments Commission (ASIC) where applicable.

The Mathematician shall deliver all work products in accordance with the following schedule, with all on-site work conducted in Australia Melbourne:
- Milestone 1 (by 15 July 2025): Completion of stochastic demand model and initial validation report.
- Milestone 2 (by 15 August 2025): Delivery of optimisation algorithms and performance benchmarking documentation.
- Milestone 3 (by 15 September 2025): Final PDE solutions, thermal dynamics report, and full technical documentation package.
- Milestone 4 (by 30 September 2025): Completion of all knowledge transfer workshops in Australia Melbourne.
Payment against this Purchase Order shall be made in three equal instalments of $33,990.00 (inclusive of GST), due within 30 days of the acceptance of each corresponding milestone deliverable. Payment shall be made by electronic funds transfer (EFT) to the bank account nominated by the Mathematician in writing. The Mathematician must provide a valid Australian Tax File Number (TFN) and GST registration details prior to the first payment. All payments are subject to the terms of the Australian Consumer Law (2010) and the relevant provisions of the Australian Taxation Office.
- This Purchase Order is governed by the laws of the State of Victoria, Australia Melbourne, and the Commonwealth of Australia. Any disputes arising from this Purchase Order shall be resolved in the courts of Victoria, Australia Melbourne.
- The Mathematician warrants that all mathematical work delivered under this Purchase Order shall be original, free from intellectual property infringement, and shall not encumber any third-party rights.
- The Mathematician shall maintain professional indemnity insurance with a minimum cover of AUD $5,000,000 for the duration of this Purchase Order engagement in Australia Melbourne.
- Confidentiality: The Mathematician shall treat all data, algorithms, and proprietary information of Meridian Applied Sciences as strictly confidential. This obligation survives the termination of this Purchase Order for a period of five (5) years.
