This Purchase Order is issued by the Alexandria University Research & Development Consortium (hereinafter referred to as the "Buyer") to formally engage the services of a qualified Mathematician, Dr. Hassan El-Farouk, for the execution of advanced mathematical modelling, statistical analysis, and computational research tasks. All professional services under this Purchase Order shall be performed within the jurisdiction of Egypt Alexandria, specifically at the Buyer's designated research facilities located in the Seafront District of Egypt Alexandria.
The Mathematician engaged under this Purchase Order shall provide expert-level mathematical expertise in the fields of differential equations, numerical analysis, optimization theory, and probabilistic modelling. The scope of work is tailored to support the Consortium's ongoing marine engineering research programme, which is headquartered in Egypt Alexandria and benefits from the city's strategic coastal location and established academic infrastructure.

4.1 Place of Performance: All services rendered under this Purchase Order shall be carried out at the Buyer's premises in Egypt Alexandria or at such other location within Egypt Alexandria as mutually agreed in writing. The Mathematician acknowledges that Egypt Alexandria serves as the primary operational base for all deliverables associated with this engagement.
4.2 Payment Schedule: Payment shall be made in three equal instalments: 30% upon execution of this Purchase Order, 40% upon completion of the mid-term deliverables, and 30% upon final acceptance of all work products. All payments shall be processed in Egyptian Pounds (EGP) via bank transfer to the account designated by the Mathematician.
4.3 Intellectual Property: All mathematical models, algorithms, derivations, and analytical frameworks developed by the Mathematician under this Purchase Order shall become the exclusive property of the Buyer upon full payment. The Mathematician retains the right to reference the general methodology in academic publications, provided that no proprietary data specific to Egypt Alexandria infrastructure is disclosed.
4.4 Compliance and Licensing: The Mathematician warrants that he holds a valid professional licence issued by the Egyptian Ministry of Higher Education and that all services performed in Egypt Alexandria comply with applicable national regulations governing professional consultancy engagements.
4.5 Termination: Either party may terminate this Purchase Order with thirty (30) days' written notice. In the event of termination, the Mathematician shall be compensated for all work completed and accepted up to the date of termination, and all deliverables in progress shall be handed over to the Buyer.
4.6 Governing Law: This Purchase Order shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Arab Republic of Egypt. Any disputes arising from this Purchase Order shall be resolved through arbitration in Egypt Alexandria in accordance with the Egyptian Arbitration Law No. 27 of 1994.
4.7 Confidentiality: The Mathematician agrees to maintain strict confidentiality regarding all data, research findings, and proprietary information encountered during the performance of this Purchase Order in Egypt Alexandria. This obligation shall survive the termination of this Purchase Order for a period of five (5) years.
By signing below, both parties acknowledge and agree to all terms, conditions, and specifications set forth in this Purchase Order for the engagement of a Mathematician in Egypt Alexandria. This document constitutes a binding agreement upon countersignature by both authorized representatives.
