The scope of work under this Purchase Order encompasses the development of advanced mathematical models, the execution of numerical simulations, and the provision of expert analytical consulting to support the Institute's ongoing research programs in energy systems optimization and environmental data modeling.

All services rendered under this Purchase Order shall be performed at the designated work location in Kuwait, Kuwait City, specifically at the KNRDI main campus in Safat, Kuwait City, unless otherwise agreed upon in writing by both parties. The Mathematician shall comply with all applicable Kuwaiti labor laws, professional conduct standards, and institutional policies governing the performance of professional services within Kuwait, Kuwait City.

4.1 Payment Terms: Payment under this Purchase Order shall be made in three (3) equal installments: 40% upon execution of this Purchase Order, 40% upon delivery and acceptance of the mid-term deliverables (Items 01 and 02), and 20% upon final acceptance of all remaining deliverables. All payments shall be processed via bank transfer to the Mathematician's designated account in Kuwait, Kuwait City, within fifteen (15) business days of invoice submission.

4.2 Delivery and Acceptance: All deliverables shall be submitted to the KNRDI Director of Applied Sciences Division at the Safat campus, Kuwait City. The Purchaser shall have ten (10) business days to review and either accept or request revisions. Failure to respond within this period shall constitute deemed acceptance.

4.3 Intellectual Property: All mathematical models, algorithms, proofs, and reports produced under this Purchase Order shall become the exclusive property of the Kuwait National Research and Development Institute upon full payment. The Mathematician retains the right to reference the work in academic publications with prior written consent from the Purchaser.

4.4 Confidentiality: The Mathematician agrees to maintain strict confidentiality regarding all data, proprietary information, and project details encountered during the performance of services in Kuwait, Kuwait City. This obligation shall survive the termination of this Purchase Order for a period of five (5) years.

4.5 Termination: Either party may terminate this Purchase Order with thirty (30) days' written notice. In the event of termination, the Mathematician shall be compensated for all services rendered up to the date of termination, and all work-in-progress deliverables shall be handed over to the Purchaser.

4.6 Governing Law: This Purchase Order shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Kuwait. Any disputes arising hereunder shall be resolved through the competent courts in Kuwait City, Kuwait.

4.7 Force Majeure: Neither party shall be liable for failure to perform obligations under this Purchase Order due to events beyond reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, government mandates, or public health emergencies affecting Kuwait, Kuwait City.

This Purchase Order is valid for a period of ninety (90) days from the date of issue. The Mathematician shall confirm acceptance of all terms by signing below within ten (10) business days. Upon mutual signature, this Purchase Order shall constitute a binding agreement between the parties for the procurement of the Mathematician's professional services in Kuwait, Kuwait City.
