2. Description of Services – Engagement of a Mathematician

This Purchase Order is issued to formally engage the services of a qualified Mathematician, Dr. Aziz Karimov, for a period of twelve (12) months commencing 1 September 2025 and concluding 31 August 2026. The Mathematician shall be based at the Tashkent State University of Economics campus in Tashkent, Uzbekistan, and shall provide the following professional services:

3. Payment Terms and Schedule

Payment for the services rendered under this Purchase Order shall be made in the national currency of Uzbekistan, the Uzbek Som (UZS), via bank transfer to the account designated by the Mathematician. Payments shall be disbursed in quarterly installments as follows:

4. Terms and Conditions

4.1 This Purchase Order is governed by the Civil Code of the Republic of Uzbekistan and applicable regulations of the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovation of Uzbekistan. Any disputes arising from this Purchase Order shall be resolved through arbitration in Tashkent, Uzbekistan.

4.2 The Mathematician shall maintain all professional qualifications, academic credentials, and research licenses in good standing throughout the contract period. The Mathematician warrants that all work delivered shall be original and free from intellectual property infringement.

4.3 The Purchaser shall provide the Mathematician with a dedicated office workspace, access to the university library and computing facilities, and reasonable administrative support at the Tashkent campus. All travel expenses within Tashkent, Uzbekistan, for official university business shall be reimbursed at actual cost.

4.4 Either party may terminate this Purchase Order with thirty (30) days' written notice. In the event of early termination, the Mathematician shall be compensated for all services rendered up to the termination date, and any unearned advance payments shall be returned within fifteen (15) business days.

4.5 The Mathematician shall comply with all data protection and confidentiality regulations applicable in Uzbekistan. All research data, unpublished manuscripts, and proprietary models developed under this Purchase Order shall remain the property of the Tashkent State University of Economics unless otherwise agreed in writing.

4.6 The Mathematician is engaged as an independent consultant and not as an employee of the university. No employer-employee relationship is created by this Purchase Order. The Mathematician shall be responsible for all personal tax obligations in accordance with the Tax Code of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

NOTE: This Purchase Order is valid only when signed by both authorized representatives. Unsigned copies are for reference purposes only and do not constitute a binding agreement. All communications regarding this Purchase Order must be directed to the Procurement Office in Tashkent, Uzbekistan. 5. Acceptance and Authorization

By signing below, both parties acknowledge that they have read, understood, and agree to all terms and conditions set forth in this Purchase Order for the engagement of the Mathematician in Tashkent, Uzbekistan.
